Gaming isn't a sport. Neither is chess or poker. It is a game. It is a game competition. What is wrong with just leaving it at that?
I don't understand this great need to classify it as a sport. I guess it makes people feel better about themselves somehow.
They could have simply released the game without any DLC and you would have paid $60 for it without question.
But now they offer something additional, which is completely optional.... you're going to cancel the purchase of the main game?
You all lack logic.
I personally won't be buying the season pass, but I certainly don't agree that it should be free.
They will probably spend 6-8 months of development time creating this extra content... why shouldn't you have to pay for that?
It is an indie title. It isn't like they are pushing the limits of the system.
I've been saying this all along when people bitch about DLC.
The option is either it works like it does now ($60 base + more for DLC) or we pay $70 or $80 base price (with no paid DLC).
Games have been the same price for a long, long time. Back to N64 (some games cost $70 or more back then). Games are insanely more complex nowadays, dev teams are humongous compared to 15-20 years ago.
I'd rather it stay like it is currently, because...
Where?
Which ones? I almost forgot, it has been 8 months since they had a first party release.
Ya, when I read the title here... then read his tweet... things didn't line up.
Somehow a MAYBE turned into TO HAVE
Somehow IP turned into IPs
360 had a big head start. If you align their sales by release date, Sony was always winning. That was even with a major price difference.
Completely different this time and Sony is dominating.
I mean the things approved on this site. Dude got hacked/phished. He admitted credit was added to his account and the game was purchased.
Delete the damn article for the love of god.
Here's what you apparently can't grasp... Xbox One isn't using your regular ole DX11. Xbox is already capable of doing a lot of things that DX12 will bring to PC.
DX12 will make it easier for Xbone developers, but it doesn't unlock some tremendous power. It will never be able to match the PS4.
Your lord and savior Phil Spencer said it himself, it won't do much capability wise.
Even Brad Wardell, DX12's number one...
Like others said, the proper thing to do his buy HIS GAME. After that abandon all things Konami if you wish.
Refusing to buy his work because Konami is making stupid decisions, doesn't show any loyalty to him.
I bet if you asked him if he wanted people to buy his game, he would say yes.
Out of respect for him you won't buy the game he created?
Who cares what your IQ is. You're talking about something (the law) which apparently you don't know much about.
You cannot successfully sue a company because they cancelled a planned product. Do you realize how stupid that is? A law can't force a company to finish and release a product.
It happens everyday in every industry, no one gets sued. Show me where it has ever happened?
Do you know how many games have been announced an...
Not our business? We are consumers, we're allowed to have an opinion and call them out.
Was it none of our business about all the policies they originally announced? I guess we shouldn't have said anything.
Microsoft's stance on indies is that it is all about Microsoft and their money. They don't care about the gamers.
Does sound fishy. If it is releasing in July, I find it hard to believe MS is sitting on this news with only 4 months to go. While Sony continues to crush them.
Maybe that is when the EA-NFL deal expires. I think mid 2014 was last time someone from EA said the deal had some years left on it, so if it was just 2 years... the timing could be right.
If first party games have been allowed this whole time, I don't know why MS or Sony wouldn't have had s...
Wow this is almost a thousand degrees. Can I get some real news?
N4G is slowly going down the toilet.
Does anyone have recommendations for a similar site?
Sony has no way of knowing whether a purchase was legit or not.
That is why they can't be held responsible for those things.
Please add me to your PSN friends list, I will let you SharePlay the game for $250/hour.
