I started going to IGN when I was a around 11 years old. With every year that passes they lose some form of credibility to me, and over 12 years, there is close to nothing left save their "exclusive interviews" because they are popular and throw money at developers/publishers feet. Their reviews are a joke, plain and simple. It's like a bunch of hipsters sit around and think of dumb shit to say all day.

This was so obvious. I'll never believe the "new engine" hype again after Bethesda fooled me with Skyrim. I was so excited for a brand new feel to that game, and it is literally Oblivion with upgrades. Really not impressed with that approach from million dollar companies.
You don't have to build a new engine for every game you release, but when you use the same one for 5 games in a decade, you need to start fresh.

I have a hunch that something regarding this multiplayer component will be asymmetrical. That has to be the reason ND is so excited about it, because if it was just a deathmatch style, it wouldn't be revolutionary.

I agree with his comments, except Christian Bale isn't Batman. Kevin Conroy is hands down. On film Bale wins, but when you are talking the VOICE of Batman, Conroy is a beast. Although Bale does do some good voice work. I like him as Howl at least..

You didn't even list Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (2ndG in Japan. It sold almost 700,000 copies on it's first week in Japan, and a year later had grossed 3.5 million. It continued to be in the top selling games for years, so that number is way larger now, not including the digital sales on PSN.

I completely agree with your statement. I was actually disappointed with the reveal trailer. Not because I wasn't excited for another Souls game, but because it came out swinging like it was Dragon Age 3. The creatures and enemies they showed in the reveal were so uninspired. You can really tell that they are catering to the Western audience now, and unless they start showing off a bunch of really grotesque and challenging moments from the game, I'll probably be let down when I play i...
