This is my most anticipated game of PS4s launch! I cannot wait to get my hands on this beast and have my friends over for multiplayer.
Been playing these games for a long time, my friend is the best with Jam so I was hoping to see her in action. Milia is actually my favorite, but we all have around 3 to 4 characters that we train with. This game looks amazing, and I was personally disappointed with Blazblue and very sad when they announced they weren't working on GG anymore (or taking a hiatus).
But damn! It looks to be worth the wait! Good thing I bought that extra PS4 controller last week.
I backed this game and this trailer blew my pants off.
Buying this as soon as possible.
Never would have imagined a game would release where kicking the crap out of girls knocked their clothes off. Oh wait, this is Japan where anything is possible through video games!
The amount of monsters and weapons/armors looks really enticing. I really hope it doesn't cost to play anymore, and with a solid group of friends, we will be able to progress without having to spend any money if items do still have a price tag. I honestly don't care too much about the graphics being old. The new monster hunters have better graphics, but they are also adding a lot of bloated features I don't care for, such as QTE, riding monsters, and jumping around.
Same here, I'll buy them both when the sequel releases and add it to my list of games to beat.
Don't forget the Western release of course!
I have to agree with most of the 3DS comments on here. After putting around 2000 hours in to the PSP versions of MH, it kinda feels like a slap and the face.
The real sad part about it all though is not that it is exclusive to the 3DS right now, but that it looks worse than it did on the PSP 5 years ago. Other than the new monsters, there is literally nothing exciting about this.
I'd rather play Frontier from 2007 or whatever as that actually took the fra...
Wow, confirmed fucking QTE movie sequences while hunting monsters. Count me out of here. This game is the opposite of what I want in a MH game.
That line gave me shivers.
Funded for sure. Have you listed to the music? The art is glorious as well. Really hoping for that $1,000,000 mark!
Monster Hunter Tri for 3DS is barely even a graphical upgrade. The colors pop more, but the models and textures look like they did on the PSP if not worse. MH3G is not a native HD Monster Hunter so that can't really be used as an example. They ported MH3rd from PSP to PSN in Japan and that got terrible reviews for non-HD textures. I'm guessing Capcom wanted to try again with better results based on the networking infrastructure that was already set up to work through the Wii.

Honestly, the recent trailer released looked pretty good for 3DS. I have to admit this would be the final game that would make me pick up the system since there are not enough games I care about right now.
The problem is that Capcom is taking the series where I do not want it to go. That's including the hardware. Climbing on monsters backs? As soon as I saw Dragons Dogma, I knew it was a tech demo to do that in MH4. Jumping around with your weapons? Does not look appealin...
Man, what is up with the ninja girl on the left. Every time I see her in one of these pictures I smile.
I must have an interest for animated ninja ladies.
Time to kill my friends.
I was really looking forward to some news about a new Breath of Fire game. From this point on I am no longer excited. Guess I'll have to replay II and IV from time to time since all hope for VI is shattered.
Wow, I was always hoping that Frontier would make it's way to the PS3. Now that it has, Capcom still probably won't release it in the West. Why are you doing this to me Capcom? Why are you ruining all your franchises, or making it difficult for me to play them?
There are so many monsters, armors and weapons to build in this game. So many creatures that are unique to this Monster Hunter that I would love to hunt, and all of that on the PS3, which me and all my friends ...
Still might pick this up on 360 one day. The main advantage to that is that you only have to buy the game once, and as long as you have four controllers you are good to go. The alternative is having everyone spend money to play co-op on Steam, but that seems like such a waste. Really wishing they would do a Monaco Bundle and give you four downloads for $15.00 one day.
The next time I see an anime character looking at the sky optimistically my wifes cat is getting punched.
