There is simply NO NEED to pre-order a game if there are no incentives. It is 2011 and there are never shortages of games if you want to buy something day 1. If Gamestop doesn't have it, Target or Walmart or some other retail store does. Personally, I buy all of my games from Amazon and I only pre-order if Amazon is offering credit. Gamestop should not be selling these "gut" copies as "new"... Once a game is opened, it is no longer new. Especially since employees will borrow those games and take them home. They are used games and I believe that a class action was filed (or is in the works) against GS for selling these games as new. What they should do is put a placeholder card on the shelf and keep the unopened games behind the shelf.

I agree with you.... bottom line is that it is a new game on PSN. There are development and marketing costs that go into the production and release of a new game, whether it appears on another platform or not. People didn't gripe (too much) when Mass Effect 2 was released on the PS3 for the full $60 price.

You may be bored, but I actually am enjoying it and the majority of the comments I've read around the internet have been positive. Plus, this is a BETA and ND will work on the game before it is released based upon feedback from the players. They can't please everyone but they are a very responsive developer.
