@Sully Yeeeeaaa except that’s a terrible example as Sony opened the gen at the new price point and in Year three Xbox has yet to release a $70 base price first party title. So when you say “right after” some serious inflation has to occur to make that statement true. But I agree that fans on both sides should just stop throwing all the damn shade all the time. Just play games… there are great options for all platforms
I just want to say, I hope Sony fans flocking to this news are being very careful right now. Microsoft is a huge company, as is Sony. Companies protect their bottom line always, Sony may not be far behind in announcing layoffs. Keep that in mind before the dirt throwing begins

@Bobertt and Elden Ring had this many bugs and so did HFW. In fact I have my own screen cap of meshes/textures vanishing mid gameplay. Y’all need to give these devs a break sheesh…. 99% of you guys have never built a AAA game

Yup, and millions of people will still play it and love it including one of the PS saints Cory Barlog who is on records being “effing excited for the game”. People give Bethesda so much grief but the bugs in their games aren’t unlike the bugs in many others. Our GOTY Elden Ring, rightly so btw, had loooooooooooaaaads of bugs in at launch as did HFW. GoW was pretty snag free but the point remains, all games have bugs and for the size and interactivity that BGS games have I wouldn’t expect them...

True, I think the waiting has truly harmed the Xbox brand and this has all stemmed from lack of investment in the late 360/ early-mid XBO period. That said, they did start buying additional studios in 2018 and if we think about planning and development time, we should actually be getting close to a consistent stream of first party output from Xbox starting next year, which would mark 4-5 years under the MS umbrella for most of their studios. Let’s see
I remember getting this game when It first launched. Put it down for months because I couldn’t get into it. Gave it another chance down the line and this has got to be one of my top 3 gaming experiences of all time. What we really need is that Nvidia RTX Remix they demoed for Morrowind but applied over the whole game. I jump back in every couple years and would love to do so on that! Shame Bethesda has no interest in remaking this themselves.
