I have owned the NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PSX, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, 360(three of them because of RRD) didn't get a PS3 until 09 when the first PS3 slim came out and that day I got Demon's Souls, Uncharted Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, Infamous, Heavenly Sword, ...
There is an article you should read that was just put up. It talks about about even with all the hoopla about the Switch and it's sales PS4 is still leading in the news in every aspect. Go on logic not emotion.
I was just talking to some "die hard" in another post about this. When a person lets emotion overtake logic the conversation is over.
It's because it's Nintendo and it had a Zelda game at launch. It will begin to slow just like every other ones has except for the WII and it wasn't because of games but because grand parents could play tennis. They were in nursing homes. Also it's not healthy to get ones hopes up so soon. It takes time and great games to reach and keep consistent sales numbers. Sure you can Skyrim is on both consoles and if I'm a consumer I'm going with the better version and they aren't priced like they are so different the Switch is only a hundred dollars less than a Pro.
No it's not, why wouldn't I want a game that is available on a superior system as far as horsepower than on a system that's a tad above a WII U? Sure there are a lot of third party devs on board for the Switch but with the cost of the cards to produce and the inferior tech I just don't see the great third party titles coming to it but gimmicky ones. I've waiting till this holiday season to see how it goes. If I'm wrong then I'll happily buy it as opposed to Scorpi...
There are a lot of folks who could care less about portability. I would've taken a Nintendo system on par with the PS4 myself.
Well if a console has excellent exclusives from first and second party devs and there is a track record of that equaling large install bases and with that you get third party games left and right. Also when you have top of the line first party devs then not only will you get great game play, graphics but also wonderful narratives. There is also a track record of this.
Why would anyone buy a third party game on the Switch which is also available on PS4 or Xbone? Case in point is Skyrim. Now I haven't got the remastered version yet but when I do it'll be for the Pro not the Switch.
I'm glad you are enjoying it. I played one of the Monster Hunter games on the WII but it was pretty barren but from what I've read about this on it's pretty detailed so I'm gonna give it a go on the Pro. I know it's not a Monster Hunter game but just a similar premise.
Really a down vote because I and most are excited that a beloved developer is working on a beloved character? Yeah sure what ever. Is it because the system it's gonna be exclusive to doesn't have X in it's title. So petty.

I liked Halo 1 and 2 but didn't care for 3 and I got so sick and tired of the damn Flood. I did ODST and Reach though. The last Halo I played was 4 and hated it. I loved Alan Wake but that was the last Microsoft game that interested me and then my third 360 bit the dust and I haven't owned an Xbox since.
I enjoyed The Order as well and would love for a more fleshed out sequel and with Sony you can never say never because they take chances.
I hated having to always grind. We got the kids an Xbox One for Christmas in 2014 and in two weeks they traded it back in. The twins were 10, Brandon was 14 and Justin was 16 and they have all played the major Sony exclusives. So even kids can tell what quality is.
I don't think you are trying to start arguments. You maybe but I just think you like me are enjoying what is on offer from Sony. The games that have been released and are coming are just phenomenal. If I owned an Xbox One or a Switch I would definitely own a Sony system either a Slim or a Pro. Then all bases would be covered.
