That would be what I would but I'm not so sure they are in scramble mode! For the longest time I was like "okey they know they've screwed up and now they are gonna reverse course" but that thought has popped up in my head numerous times this gen!
They just need to get back to basics and put the effort in develope an identity. It can be done and it'll take a long, long time to get consumer confidence back but if they'll just invest in studios and al...
It is what it is! One is killing it while the other not so much! Truth is I'd be all for M$ bringing it, trying to match Sony's megatons but they aren't.
The issue I have with M$ is that I supported them in the beginning and I think a lot of us did. We had N64's, PSX's, Dreamcast and PS2's and when M$ got involved I was intrigued and really loved the variety of games that were only on OG Xbox! At some point in the 360's cycle things began to cha...
I started 3 last night in anticipation for Thursday! It's held up well but I am so glad they went in the direction they did and after reading an article in Forbes yesterday about the semi open world nature and all the loot my excitement is bursting at the seams!
I'm still playing through 3 and can't wait until tomorrow!!!!!!!!
Not expecting much from M$ anymore! I see no commercials about any of their products. The last one was AC Origins/X and that was in the winter. On the other hand PS4 is in the conscious with GOW!
I'd imagine so! Don't let the B team handle a cherished series!
Star Wars need some to get away from EA!
A review or meta score won't stop me from liking or supporting agame. Mafia III was a good game but it was repetitious. That being said I think it sucks bonuses are tied to scores!
Now when a game like GOW comes along and racks up the critical reviews it's hard not to take notice! I was hopeful it would do well(because SP games seem to be in constant danger to some in the industry) but I was not expecting it to be universally praised but I'll take it!

"Yaaaaah," after hours upon hours I have more bits of metal, fabric and wood!! Good times!
Sho nuff!!!!!
I'm regretful that EA has the Star Wars license!
Booger Douglas is gonna getcha!
Kratos is killing these reviews!!!
In 99 the Dreamcast and this game blew me away! The graphics for the time we're unprecedented on consoles and Shenmue was like no other game! I. Ant wait to play these two again!
@FantasmA thats right it wasn't the same year but twelve months apart from each other.
Yes single player games are here to stay and when done right can be quite profitable! So glad Sony is doubling down on narrative driven SP experiences!
SP games like Metroid, Zelda, Castlemania and Mega Man solidified my love for gaming as a kid in the 80's! Through all the gens that love has only grown but this gen in particular has rejuvenated that love with it's graphical fidelity and the levels of immersion devs can deliver now!
Games like Se...
Ouch!
I remember that too!
I was concerned when Chaos Theory hit so soon after Pandora Tomorrow(it was in the same year I believe) but the moment I was on the ship my worries subsided! It really was a benchmark of what the Xbox could do because the jump in visuals from part 2 to 3 was astonishing! Also the story was awesome! More games like those would be welcome!
I enjoyed the first one but 2 blew me away with it's concepts and 3 was a fitting close to the trilogy!
