From my perspective it's the exact opposite in that Sony is playing the long game with a focus on quality software which is integral to a consoles success not to mention its existence!
Combine that with an ability to allow creativity to flourish and not getting in its own way and you have a fertile landscape that breeds excitement and success! Also developing affordable VR options adds even more layers to their portfolio!

I was thinking the same as it pertains to the third party titles. They would more than likely come to the PS4 as well and would sell more. Strange to say multi platform titles will save a console when they haven't up to this point!

Yeah it was personal and you are right about being worried what he would do to Atreus! When he said he was going to see who was in the cabin and Kratos hit Spartan Mode I jumped to my feet and remained there for the rest of the fight!
This fight gave me chills, raised my heartbeat and had me on my feet yelling! So well done too and oh so visceral and gritty!
I loved how Kratos tried to compose himself and was even looking back to make sure Atreus wasn't watching. When the stranger did in fact see someone else was there the tension was palpable!
