Dead Space was fun the first time, got some scares out of it. But after that it just became another third person shooter in really tight corridors with butt ugly enemies to shoot at.
I'm more interesting in Trine 2, Fez and Journey than From Dust.
Outland looks pretty interesting too, kinda reminds me of Patapon.
Fez looks pretty interesting indeed.
Hmmm, I think DA2's a bit too much like ME2, at least the way the battle system works.
Phantom Brave is awesome, I'm loving it so much right now :)
Agreed, if they make the campaign longer, it'll be icing on the cake.
You said it, there's no point in throwing down a bunch of unnecessary features if the gameplay is terrible.
I know I'll probably get a lot of flak for this, but just look at the CoD series, what have they really added to it other then changed the setting and added new weapons/perks? The addictive core gameplay has remained largely the same, which is probably why so many people keep going back to it every flippin' year.
I'm sure they have, seeing the weapon wheel back was more than enough for me.
I can't wait to get my hands on this, looking forward to what they do with the multiplayer, but I really enjoyed Resistance for its narrative, regardless of its flaws.
Totally agree on what he said about R6 and GHR, they don't make them like they used to. I was really put off when GHR went the sci-fi, third person route :(
Rogue Spear was a blast, spent so many hours online in that game.
Loved the first Trine, can't wait for the second.
That is, if you're a PS Plus member. However, I admit that's one feature I'd consider paying a premium for.
Sony would've suffered quite a lost if LG's seizure had continued. We still won't know the actual outcome of the case until later this year though.
I get the feeling that it'll just get hacked again, but at the very least, they've shut it down for the time being.
It feels like Sony just bitch slapped a number of people in the faces.
That title alone makes me want to play this game xD
Indeed, I've had friends say exactly that, that it's not flexible or easy to get into like a hack-n-slasher, that the animations are too rigid and they can't pull off a quick combo or some nonsense like that, when the game actually requires precise timing and strategy.
@Trizard: What the hell does that have to do with anything? =/
Anyway, I wouldn't say all Western games are a "quick fix," we've had some incredible epics with games like Mass Effect and whatnot.
Maybe because it requires too much skill to effectively enjoy the game? Eh, eh? Let's run with that.
This is so true, I was one that glossed over the MonHun series before, but after hitting up Freedom Unite with friends in the army, man I put so many ungodly hours into this game. The camaraderie was unlike any co-op game I'd played before.
Hmm, last Pokemon game I played was Gold. Might just have to pick this up again.
