Reviewers and Xbox fanboys are all butthurt and filled with imaginary outrage. Sure there are some who probably didn't enjoy the game much, but it just seems like the overwhelming majority of negative comments are coming from "so called reviewers" and Xbox fans. That is quite telling in itself.
Opinions of opinions carry no weight in the real world. To think that an "OPINION" can potentially hold the power of creating a "stigma" is ridiculous. Only the arrogant and self-absorbed would think that their own BIASED OPINION has any real influence in this industry.
Entitlement and arrogance have no place in gaming. Everyone has an opinion and everyone is entitled to have one. Accept it and move on.
Many players expected to see a futuristic COD/Halo/BF4 and when they didn't get it (Immediate player matches and multiplayer modes) the complaints and whining began. Yeah. I agree. The only redeeming quality Skyrim had was free roam/open world style of gameplay. Other than that, it was below average in my opinion.
Absolutely agree. Watch Dogs was a waste of pixels. The most disappointing game I have played this year.

It was a short and a completely forgettable side-scrolling RPG. Sure it was pretty, but that's it. reviewers mostly gave it 8 or 9. I'd say it was a 7 at the most.

Some people say the same things about games like Guild Wars and DCUO. Both of those games are still going strong and Destiny will do the same thing. I find it extremely immersive. I'm level 8 and getting pretty good gear from grinding. It plays like Diablo III with guns.
Destiny is much better than Watch Dogs.

I don't buy games because someone writes a story and tells me I should. I look for the types of game play mechanics that I enjoy. Role-playing, loot drops, treasure hunting, crafting, leveling, power-ups, upgrades, various weapons, different types of armor...

I'm really enjoying this game. It's a FPS with elements of an RPG. I woke up at 3am and kept playing it until 6am. I would have kept going, but I do have a life and I need to wash my car and do a few other things before my week begins.
Here's an honest, unbiased assessment of the game. It's a First Person Shooter that plays like World Of War Craft or Guild Wars. So if you enjoy games like Wolfenstein/Guild Wars, you will enjoy this game.

A digital copy of a game is nothing more than an IMAGE of the game. An Image than can disappear at any moment.
I could give a rat's @ss what reviewers think. I just started playing yesterday and can honestly say that i'm drawn into the game, and that's how it's supposed to be. 8/10...

Microsoft obviously believes that they can't sell consoles by being straight-forward with consumers, that's why they suck just like cheaters.

I completely agree with you. I find it extremely satisfying when I defeat a swarm of enemies all on my own. I feel connected to my character. I feel as though I am fighting to turn the tide, to turn back the enemy by any and all means necessary. I'm reminded of a line from TLOU when ever I manage to survive such a battle; "To the edge of the Universe and back! Endure and survive."
