I would love to see Destiny outsell COD, but every time I watch live streaming on PS4, I still see 4 or 5 people streaming COD Ghosts. smh
Tomb Raider:The Definitive Edition is the perfect example that supports ^^^this^^^ comment.
Sports games, run & cover shooters, FPS, and hack & slash games may benefit from a multiplayer mode. Games with cinematic cut-scenes, like survival adventure, horror, rpgs suffer when content is taken away to add in a multiplayer. Just image if TLOU was open world, but there would be no multiplayer mode. TLOU has the potential to be so much more than it is. Without multiplayer, the game could be filled with more places to explore, an expanded story, and more infected instead of being ...
I wonder if the author bothered to check the lastest information available for PlayStation Now?
http://blog.us.playstation....
"Leveraging Gaikai’s advanced cloud-based technology, PlayStation Now will allow you to:
1. Play video games instantly across multiple devices, similar to the way you might stream TV, mo...
LOL. Is gamingbolt on Microsoft's payroll now?
In reference to the article, even if you polish and spit shine a turd, it's still a turd.
The author is a fanboy. The PlayStation 4 has only been on the market for 9 months. What games does he actually expect to get on PS Plus, Infamous Second Son? As for the reliability of the service, PSN is no more reliable than any other service of it's kind. Hacking and internet based attacks are nothing more than a sign of the internet age. Just recently, 5 banks have had their networks hacked and banks have some of the most secure networks in this country. Any corporate network that is ...
If it's delayed again i'm cancelling my pre-order.
Japanese tastes in games has nothing to do with prejudice. It has more to do with the fact that western games tend to suck. I could go down the list and get a bunch of disagrees, but I won't. I'll just cite a few GOOD games that have benn met with a decent reception in Japan: Infamous Second Son, The Last Of Us Remastered which debuted at number 2 when it was released in Japan. Only sold 30,000 copies though, but to put things in perspective, the number one game only sold 77,000 copie...
They really should have left out games that were poorly received in the west. The weaker games only makes the Xbox One look weaker. Show the best and only the best. Make your product shine and stop worrying about selling software.
It's a wonderful idea, but getting Sony and Microsoft to agree to let it happen? I think Sony would be more open to the possibility, but Microsoft? Who knows.
The article is generalizing. I've come across women gamers who curse like sailors, women who troll, console fangirls, women who wipe the floor with men while playing dudeBro COD, and I could go on and on. I have no idea why anyone would mention the fact that they're "anti-feminist" when it is completely irrelevant. People who play video games don't play video games and let everyone know that their republican/democrat, straight/gay, atheist/theologian. What was the point?...
Meta Critic has it at 82 on both platforms. I'm just wondering how the same game can be given different ratings on different consoles.
I laugh every time it happens.
"they tried to MONOPOLIZE gaming, imo they deserve everything and more. i love it."
There. Fixed it for you.
@Melman26
I think you're missing the point that Mikelarry and others are trying to make. Microsoft has never been a consumer oriented company. Sony shapes and molds their products into things that gamers want. Take PS Now for example. At first, PS Now was only available on Sony products, now it will be available on all internet capable devices. PS Now originally offered only game rentals, now it will offer subscriptions. And now you have Microsoft. I'll skip E3 2013, ...
He doesn't. Like most who keep calling the attack on PSN a hack.
My guess is Quantum Break will be bigger than Sunset Overdrive.
PlayStation Now should be available on any device capable of receiving streaming content. The DS4 should be able to connect to any device with bluetooth capability. Just a couple of ways to diversify and maximize profits.
Edit: I had no idea that Sony is implementing streaming on NON-SONY devices. I thought PS Now only worked with Sony devices. Guess they were thinking the same thing I was thinking.

I'm entitled to my opinion. To each his own and enjoy your day.
