That's not exactly the case. Sony Financial Services, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment, along with PlayStation are where Sony makes most of it's profits. It's electronics division is being undercut by Korean products made by Samsung that are similar to and cheaper than comparable Sony products.

If Sony doesn't have any mishaps with PlayStation TV, PlayStation Now, or the PS4, i'd say that within 3 years Sony will have 40 to 50 percent of the console market locked up. At it's current pace of sales, the PS4 will be approaching 30 million PS4's sold through. This console cycle may very well decide the future of Microsoft's continued presence in the console market.
I'd say the horror genre has already made a comeback with Outlast and P.T. I think The Evil Within will make it's mark and i'll be playing it day 1.

The only other possibility is that Sony is doing the same thing it did with Destiny, exclusive marketing rights, or the game will be a timed exclusive.

More like 17 to 20 million if Sony releases another crowd pleaser during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season.
It's the preferred console because Sony gives gamers more of what they want and they don't try to push things that gamers don't need. On the other hand, Microsoft pushes Kinect, voice commands, and television, while neglecting to create a substantial gaming library. Apps are a nice perk, but that's all they are. As long as Sony focuses on customer feedback, developing the PS4, and game development, the PS4 will dominate the gaming console market in 2015 and beyond.

Still no news on whether or not the game will be a PS4 exclusive huh? As for the "episode" format, as long as the "first" episode has enough content, depth, and at least 20 hours of game play, more power to em'.
I'm thinking the game that will be revealed is The Last Guardian. Back in August, there was news about the game being near completion (Going gold). That would be my guess. And it will probably be revealed after Thanksgiving. If it's a different, i'm okay with that. Just let it be a great game.
It's a DriveClub based in Europe not San Francisco. How many racing games have the Audi RS6 Avant? Bentley Continental GT V8? Aston Martin V12 Zagato? RUF RGT 8? RUF RT12 R? Hennesey Venom GT? RUF CTR3 Clubsport? Most of the cars i've listed in this post will out-perform any comparable American or Japanese car. These are some of the best high performance vehicles on Earth. That cannot be disputed.
