Do you think this could be due to Destiny struggling with its identity? I mean in the sense that it doesn't belong to a specific genre.
I am sure Bungie will do just do
Proper end game content will be crucial
What's happening?
I really hope so as well
Maybe the press should then start to be the voice of caution and not buy into the hype.
Very interesting read. I think having another platform where games can be critiqued is not a bad thing. Having it on Steam where gamers already have so much other info relating to their games is a very good idea. Steam is becoming The Hub for PC gaming. Well played Valve.
I agree, it seems Activision is especially guilty of over hyping games
Why don't publishers/devs learn? They've had enough serious indicators this year of how over hype can damage a good game
Ghosts wasn't popular
@slappy508, we've got a strong Xbox community over at GameZone, come say hi
Now that's what I call a sale
I hope companies will learn to stop with the hype. I can't help but wonder if Destiny would've done better with less hype.
ROFL! Ye, a lot of people were upset about that. They didn't even notify customers properly
I am from South Africa, I've been involved with various communities for years and I've not ONCE come across a black person being annoying or anything of the sort.
Thanks for your reply to Mr Dumbass
just. wow.
As far as pre-order incentives go, then this is really worth it. On the other hand, pre-ordering (and especially a season pass) is not a good thing at all.
When so many critics say the same thing, then I guess it's time to listen. Stop trying to defend what's wrong with Destiny. It was over hyped and it failed miserably to meet expectations.
But it's still "fun" - how long that fun will last though is another question.
Reading those IGN India comments are really disheartening for Xbox fans. I don't understand why India didn't do a proper launch.
South Africa with its big Xbox fanbase should do well. I cannot but think that it might be a year too late though.
Racing would be epic
