Have you ever played an MMO or MMORPG? I know Destiny is somewhat of a hybrid, but exploits that directly affect longevity might be its downfall.
So 8 out of the 12 Japan Future Game Awards are Sony exclusives. Why was the PS4 so small in Japan?
Probably "so far"
Why no Bloodborne
Rofl, nice comparison.
Cause entitlement and fanboyism is a real thing in gaming <-- that was my reply to the title,
Why do we (gamers) find it so hard to embrace disagreement?
Ever seen a PS & MS fanboi pissing contest? It's like the can't disagree respectfully, it has to be all you this or you that shit

I agree with you. I also think hype is bad for reviews, since the reviewer could measure the actual game against what her/she expected. Destiny as an example.
I don\' however think a bit of excitement is wrong :)
As I said, it gives the devs an indication of what fans would like..
I don't think the leak is going to really damage the game, not at this stage. It creates interest and something cool to talk about. It also gives the devs an idea what the fans like. Hype becomes a problem later on, if a dev pushes something which they know the game won't deliver - that could damage the game.
Why should social gamers be excluded. A game is a game is a game.
Did you even read the article
ROFL! Those dam review scores hey :)

So true :(
I agree with you, publicity SHOULD be there, but it should not be equally important as making a good game
I agree that good publicity is needed, but it should not be on par with the value of creating a good game.
Maybe a lesser focus on hype would've resulted in Destiny receiving better scores. People tend to rate it against their expectation - dangerous ground that
Again, how would you review a game with multiple aspects. Battlefield usually has a weak SP campaign but very strong MP. Do you score the game on both? Separately?
We never learn
