And that means prices keep coming down for us Consumers (both formats)!!! (Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are both losing the war) While We win!!! lol
Not true, Microsoft try to have Blu-Ray adopt the HDi technology that are in HD-DVD players and to adopt the VC-1 coding microsoft made, but Sony refused it and went with Java and AVC Mpeg-4 (Sony, not other movie studios). Microsoft for that reason then said, HD-DVD all the way basically. lol look it up in the history of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, forgot the link but you can google it.
How is it more tech?? Blu-Ray didnt even have movie PiP when it was released. The only difference is memory and i doubt you have 25 or even 50 gigs of data to store on a disc.
If Walt Disney was still alive, he would never want to rape the consumer with high prices. Like I bet if he was alive, Disney's theme park tickets would be like 30 dollars. And for the format war, he would want consumers to get the same quality for the cheapest price, (meaning blu-ray and HD-DVD, same, just Blu-ray hold's more data, but its expensive). he would also want the consumer to choose.
I really want this new zune. I was first thinking about getting a ipod but then i saw the screen size difference (zune is bigger). Also the first gen zune felt just right, and was a great device. Looking forward to this new zune.

Especially with the drum set, Rockband is sure to rock (kind of expensive tho). Hero 3 is kind of old, just new tracks. Still love hero 3 tho, since its the originator.

blu-ray was giving away lots of free disney movies during the week of transformers. it was consider as a sale. Transformers straght woped blu-rays a$$ if it was not for disney losing over 25 dollars for evey movie they sold (giving away a free disney movie with a purchase of one). the websites above all explain that.
Go to dvdtown.com or highdefdigets.com/ everyone on those sites are tru movie lover and straight up for hd-dvd, Why. because it's actually a non-rushed format that has lots of goodies. Space dont mean anything with out all the cool stuff. swear you blu-ray people make me so happy because I know you have no logic, just teenage boys with no girl friends..lol

I swear blu-ray needs to do alot to even take HD-DVD down (any movie lover knows the truth about this race), remember you guys probably dont even own a high def disc yet. and i bet that everyone on this site would say yes i do, when it's probably like 2% who actually does. This is a good price and a good player period. Paramount and Dreamworks (along with MTV films and Nickaloden since there joint with Viacom) will be HD-DVD for 2 years exclusively. Blu-ray fan or HD-DVD fan, you have to live with the facts and live with that. So fanboys stop being so nieve. :) "and who ever disagrees is really a hard head fanboy."
Why do people post these old news (this has been said long ago)??? Everyone knows that these companies support blu-ray (samsung actually supports both formats now)But what's the point of this old news??? Obivious we have a super fanboy here...lol Again old news
(First) HDMI= 1 wire
Composite= 5 wires (3 for video, 2 for audio)
(Second) HDMI= filters little artifacts (barely noticable) that composite shows.
(Third) Composite= you can use any video wire to get the same source, meaning that you can use regular audio/video wires
(Fourth) Composite= you can put your 2 stereo wires to a surround sound system. While with HDMI, you would need 2 HDMI wires and a expensive sound reciever (over 700 dollars) t...
