I would love to see a FPS with a different feeling than KILL KILL and KILL everything that moves.

Well said man. I often find myself staring at some detail in a game thinking "man, how much effort was put into this". People cannot watch me play games. It drives my brother crazy, when I suddenly stop and just stare at the sun, enjoying the effect, or listen to the conversaions on the streets of liberty city.
YES! Do a MASSIVE practice part, make it fun to progress, some guitar hero stuff, and we have a winner here. A game that actually makes you a better musician.
I can see PC gamers care for Rising. The first two games came out on PC, and Rising is set after the second game. Even xbox fans may have played mgs2.
So yes, playstation got the most of mgs saga but this universe is bigger than just one platform. Enjoy games, not platforms, they say :)
Well I agree with you that piracy shouldn't happen, but the fact is, its here and its happening.
The thing is, Sony is acting really aggressive against hackers and I am curious if its really that big of a deal. I mean, they managed to sell 40+ million hack-proof consoles in 4 years, with a terrible launch and ridiculous starting price. That is rather impressive.
I would like to see piracy rates on the ps3. I doubt its THAT serious. The "regular Joe the pirate" probably doesnt have access to super private high speed trackers, and downloading 15 to 50 gigs per game on a public tracker would take days if not weeks (not to mention poorly seeded torrents). That is just ridiculous. Why bother?

I have seen some gameplay videos of Homefront and I dont understand why are you guys so excited? I dont mean to bash this game. It just feels like yet another FPS in a yet another world conflict.
Please, can you guys tell me what makes this one special? It gets lots of coverage, lots of articles, building hype... it makes me wonder.

Sure, gameplay over graphics any time, BUT, performance must be good and stable. Fps dips, tearing and lag hurts the gameplay. I dont care if the other version has a bit better texture here, a bit more folliage there. As far as the performance is solid, you can take my cash.
Exactly my thoughts. IGN likes to make scandalous articles, on the other hand, this magazine is pro-PS3. We have to wait for the DF to compare.
I told myslef, I will not touch the classics of the past gen. You know the feeling when you play an old game and it just isnt as impressive as you remember it? (eg. Prince of persia HD)

This industry desperately needs more games like Mirrors Edge. Fresh, innovative, charming... I would love to see a sequel!
Well, obviously, the studio cant do horror. But with DMC, it can turn out decent. I mean, Screen Gems loves to do "cheesy-over-the-top-slow motion-all-the-time" action, and that can suit DMC well.
Is it just me, or does the gameplay look dated? I know, this is not a proper sequel, but I would love to see some innovation. I love tekken, i grew up with it, but this just does not WOW me like the first TTT did.
If they manage to capture the atmospfere of the first (or second) game, why not?
