Witcher 3 the end of May and Batman: Arkham Knight in June say Hi! And will kick that boring summer's ass.
Reading the reviews of this game remind me a lot of when Resident Evil 6 came out. Third person shooter with lots of quicktime events and strange story arcs.
This game from the previews and videos reminded me a lot of Gears of War. Its been awhile since the last (good) Gears game, was hoping this would fill that void until the next game or collection comes.
CoD actually sounds like it deserves a 9 compared to this. Both have short, cinematic campaigns but at least CoD has a large multiplayer component and co-op play.
Looks like I am waiting for Bloodborne to pick up a PS4
Yay, more bickering about resolution.
@Nature and others who say if you only own an xbox one you are short changing yourself and should have both systems, no I shouldnt. I played BF4 and others on both systems and since I am not comparing both systems side by side then the 900P resoluton on the One looks fantastic to me. Im not about to spend $400 to purchase a PS4 to have games at a slightly higher resolution.
I dont think the Red Hood "story" will be an actual story though. More like a sequence of new challenge missions sequenced together like Arkham City and Origins. Harley Quinn, because its with every preorder may be integrated into the game though as Catwoman was in City.
I agree with people above, bad launch but still a great racing game. Since I dont have a PS4 I played the game (single player) at a buddies and the way progression takes place in single player was great. If you have a game that is single player only would the be one of the worse games? No. While it is disappointing what happened with the multiplayer the SP part was amazing. May have to call him up and go see what the new weather effects look like over the weekend haha.
Are there any more patches expected? I still have it in wrapping waiting for this mess to get fixed.
How's the old saying go "Spend money to make money". That is what Microsoft is doing now and lucky for them unlike a small business startup, they can afford to spend that money.
While more 3rd parties are woring on PS4 than the xbox, it appears to be more of the indie crowd and not the major publishers. I hope Xbox improves upon that parity and ID@Xbox program as I do love me some indies.
I dont care if they ever win in worldwide sales. Doesnt benefit me any as long as they sell enough for the major third parties to keep putting games on the system.
You started off fine but then the rest of your message was a bias disappointment. You may not have a need for xbox one, but others do. So far I prefer the xbox exclusives to the PS4's. Forza Horizon 2 over Driveclub, Halo Master Chief over Killzone, Sunset Overdrive over Infamous. So to each their own.
What would be more costly for MS is not take a loss at all right now. Imagine if they didnt sell many consoles and 3rd parties focused their games on the PS4. MS would take much larger losses in the future, maybe even getting out of the console business and all the R&D costs being incurred for nothing.
MS needs to spend money to make money. Take a loss on consoles now to get them into consumers hands. If not it would be outsold by PS4 so much that they would lose 3rd party support and less consoles purchased in the future.
Great review, I liked it a lot. I have to admit I was much more of a fan of Black Flag than AC3 mainly due to the better naval combat, characters, and overall felt more polished. I am not concerned about multiplayer or the modern storyline so how do you feel about this game in comparison too Black Flag?
I would definitely play Black Flag. I have owned it for a year but because of the amount of AC games that come out, just playing it now and I am loving it. Great story, collectibles are in natural places, user inferface is nice and clean, side missions are a lot of fun. Overall it is the best AC and one of my fav gamse in a long time. I had Unity on day one and it is still in wrapping til it is fixed and im done Black flag.
One major difference between the last half of the x360's lifecycle and the Xbox one's, Phil Spencer.
He is trying to change the outlook and way Microsoft treats the xbone and I think you will continue to see game exclusives for the system.
I am not disagreeing with you because of Facts, I disagreed with you for bringing up platform sales. That isn't what the article is about and your bringing it up in the comments for no real reason.
I don't know what you're talking about. I have played about 10 hours of CoD online so far without any lag or poor hit detection on the xbox. Maybe you have a strict NAT or something. That is causing issues on Xbox one with people who use the Instant On feature.
If youre anything like me I like to keep it diverse. I am playing MCC now, will play AC Unity next then Far Cry 4.
