Couldn't you do all those game voice commands with the headset?
I hope not, GOW3 doesn't need MP at all. People will play it for 15 minutes then go back to their popular shooters/sports games.
Agreed. The Naughty Dog and Bungie guys have a pretty damn good reputation in the industry as well, certainly they make as big or bigger titles than Cliffy B.
I remember N64 games were 69.99-79.99.
and MvC3 looks better on PS3, the 360 has a lot of screen tear during ultras.
Dragon Age 2 was better on PS3
Dead Space 2 was exactly the same on both
I'd say PS3 and 360 are the same for multiplats now.
I enjoy a good manual in colour with some background story. Its makes the game seem classier for some reason and game stories need all the extra help they can get.
But I won't miss those cheap toxic smelling black and white 6 page, toilet paper quality manuals at all - go ahead an just put them in the game itself.
60 bucks for a game is totally fair in my mind. It's just enough so devs can make a profit (and keep making games). Think about it, dev cost have probably tripled this gen but game cost have more or less remained the same.
If people can pay 20-30 bucks for a new release Blu-Ray which offers only 2 hrs of entertainment then 60 bucks for a game is fair.
A surprising number of people spend 60-150 bucks a weekend at bars/clubs. The next day they have nothi...
@ dedicatedtogamers
I think online MP has extended replay value tremendously this gen. I'm getting more hours out of my games than ever before.
In fact, I can play a game regularly for years now due to online MP, I would never do that in previous gens.
This gen has been awesome IMO.
Characters seem to be on the road to humour
Games probably offer the best doller per hour of entertainment value of all the mediums.
Rogers is the worst but in Canada the government allows internet and cell phone providers to completely shit all over users, with higher prices, lesser services, and more limits.
Well the second most popular FPS series this gen only supports max 16 and most of the time 8.
This is bound to happen, around 5% of all electronics are defective. Well, unless it's a 360 phat, then 45% will be defective.
I've owned every sega system except 32X and Sega CD and can honestly say that I never want to see sega in the hardware business again. There's a limit to how many times a company can stop supporting a console before people just say f'em...in that regard.
Sega should just continue making games, Valkary Chronicles is an amazing game, both 1 & surprisingly 2.
I'm from Canada and the fact the only two sold in 5 hrs isn't some indication of consumers lack of interest in 3DS, it's simply demonstrates that no one wants to buy their videogames from Zellers because Zellers sucks for electronics.
Which is why Target bought it out. Very few people go to Zellers to satisfy their gaming needs, it's probably the same people that buy games from Shoppers Drug Mart.
Fastball strait down the middle eh.
I'd actually like one of those shirts and if there is a real club, (website) i'd like to join it.
IGN needs to go away.
MS should just fire Greenberg, every-time he speaks it makes me dislike the company. He acts like every 360 user is a moron.
IGN is officially a 360 fanboy site.
They knocked 10% off the PS3's graphics (360 got 9.5; PS3 got 8.5. WTF) for a less than 1% difference that goes both ways. I'm not visiting them again.
Bye Bye IGN.
The game on consoles is also compromised. After the first raining level all I see the worst film grain ever. It's film 'blocks' and these wierd waves going across the screen - it looks like a bad cable reception in parts. It's really terrible looking sometimes.
Some parts are beautiful others look like absolute crap. Get rid of the grain blocks and the game may indeed have the best console graphics, for now there's too many graphical glitches.
