That's just MS Tax, it's like an extra 200% on everything.
I still remember when they were selling wireless add-ons for $130 bucks.
They still make it so you have to buy more MS points than you need and don't forget to divide the 60 plus tax we pay a year for Live by the number of games we play online per year.
If you only play Halo, Crysis 2 and Battlefield this year online with some regularity then add 20 bucks to the price of e...
Well comics have very developed characters in particular villains - which aren't killed off each comic unlike games.
Video games can barely make a story make sense and often lack any identifiable villain and fail even harder at making you fear/dislike them.
Games with good stories tend to have very strong identifiable villains, the a clear evil tends to give the players actions a clear purpose
Halo:
MGS:
Half-Life 2
Killzone 3 needed some Halo-esq commercials.
Halo commercial always get me so excited for Halo games.
I think if their next console is powerful enough to play the same games as other systems, 3rd parties will make games for it so it will have a lot more core games.
Imagine if Wii was as powerful as 360/PS3 and had a standard controller - 3rd parties would have had a million plus more sales each popular game.
Yeah those games except Crysis 2 and Valkyria, made me stop and say wow while looking at the environment. GOW made gave me many wow moments too.
Crysis 2 = most overhyped graphics this gen.
Agree
That's funny, Crysis 2s MP doesn't even work and the SP is plagued will huge blocky film grain. Crysis 2 would be way better but as of now it's riddled with online and technical problems.
Nope, I have the issue on my HD Samsung series 6 - I doubt many people game on SD sets anymore.
I've been talking about this huge blocky film grain for a while and been getting disagrees. This graphical defect really detracted from my enjoyment of the SP.
For me it started with the first raining level and only got worse.
This is why I can't understand people saying Crysis is the best looking 360 game - it's way to dirty, I much prefer clean crisp graphics in games even if they has less graphical effects and technical bullet points.
The was really well done!

I fully agree, I think health packs are a step backwards. Maybe they should compromise and do something like Reach with health packs and some regeneration
I disagree with a lot of what you said but do agree with some.
But you forgot to say that this generation women are extremely narcissistic with an inflated sense of self-importance and think if they're good looking they're better than people and that the world owes them something and have a right act like they've achieved something that warrants a great deal of respect.
Watch an episode of Jersey Shore and see how messed up this generation is, may...
Maybe this gen hasn't achieved the same things in their 20s that the last gen did because we're forced to go to College/University until we're in our mid-20s just to get a job that the previous gen could get with a high school diploma. Then we have to live at home to pay it off until late 20s.
Our generation is more dependent on our parents because we're forced into debt at 18.
I think gaming is getting better overall, most old games that I go back to have really annoying gameplay elements that don't exist today.
Although I do think there's an over reliance on shooters and a general lack of imagination. Games used to take us to new worlds, now most of them take us to the USA.
I'll take a pair.....along with a bottle of snake oil and some swamp land in Florida.
Gears?
I got on 360 and may sell it if they don't patch the MP lag issues and that horrible blocky film grain and wavy lines.
To me the game looks really bad at times, like looking a bad cable reception.
Crysis 2 has that terrible huge blocky film grain and wavy lines after the first raining level so KZ3 looks way better than Crysis 2 IMO.
It would be close but Crysis looks really bad sometimes, like it has a bad cable reception.
Good list, the order i very very off IMO but it got a lot of the great games at lease.
My 360 just the console (I had to buy two, my old 20gig broke OOW), online, and rechargeable batteries has cost me about 1000 dollars and will continue increasing.
My 80 gig PS3 with online cost me 400 dollars.
