I hope it's not 60 bucks, this could easily just have been a 1200 MS points game.
Nope...hoping for 2-3 free downloadable games.
A bit of both but far more the victim.
I actually prefer saving the world or getting headshots, graphic head shots. That causes me more joy.
To each their own.
Netflix stil works for me on PS3, I was watching it today. It asks you to sign in twice which fails, says PSN is under maintenance, then still lets you watch all the movies you want.
With the exception of GTA Liberty City Stories (where I bought a physical copy on sale for 20 bucks and it was well worth it), every DLC I've seen this gen looked like a boring rip-off so I passed on them.
The only DLC I'd buy would be extensions of the SP. I don't mind paying 15 bucks for a 6-8 hr game that's the same quality as the 60 dollar version, but paying 15 bucks for maps, etc., to me is ridiculous. I can play happily for 40hrs on the maps included/...
Nice!
I wish Portal 2 had a demo, I paid 60 bucks for a puzzle game. I've gotten better puzzle games free on my iPhone. I should have learned my lesson from Bulletstorm; videogame journalists are morons.
3DS was boring the day it came out, it really has no killer app. It will be cool in a few months but as of now, it's a waist of money.
The SP for me is a 8.5/10 until the grain glitch kicks in and then I'm just too obsessed with how bad the game looks to enjoy it so it becomes a 5/10.
The MP ranges depending on lag from 8.5/10 to 5/10.
So, currently I'd give the game a 5/10 with the potential of being 8.5/10 but seeing how slow Crytek is to fix it, I'll probably just trade it in for one of the many more exciting games that are coming out soon.
Although I wish 360 had a browser as it would make some things easier, or at least a Youtube option. I'll just use my computer, it's got a keyboard and was designed for internet use.
They better give some great free downloadS because as of now, seeing them bowing makes me want to just knee them in the face.
It's been 10 days and my credit card info might be stolen, if they did their job in the first place this wouldn't have happened. My SOCOM beta is waisting away and there are a lot of games I can't play because I bought them on PS3...my mistake I guess.
At least I have my 360 too to play online, albeit with a limited catalo...
Yeah sure, just keep it in movies, TV, and books. /s
Games as a medium should be just as valid for any form of free expression.
I personally would love the opportunity to virtually put a bullet in Bin Laden at the end of BF3.
Might be in BF3, knowing EA, it probably will and that would be AWESOME.
Cool
Yes its doomed, but it will still be popular for a few more years.
I think it's peaked in terms of sales, judging from everyone I know, they're starting to find it as more of the same and don't plan on buying anymore. They'll just play one of the copies they already have as the MP doesn't change much.
It's not that the game is bad, it's just that it comes out every year so it get's old twice as fast, there's no anticipatio...
I agree Halo is AMONG the best games but I also think Reach should have won GOTY 2010 too, so I obviously like the series, although not the MP that much - I think there much better MP out there.
No other popular console FPS game with the exception of Killzone has smart AI.
Crysis 2 could be great but the game was clearly not finished in time for release.
They just patched it again and failed to fix problems with the games graphics! I can't even enjoy the SP a month after release.
The MP is great when the lag isn't bad, but the lag is bad too often.
Crysis 2 probably got really bad word of mouth because the grain glitch and lag.
I think Solid Snake being doomed to a very premature death with no cure and no possibility to have kids was more sad.
Gears story is actually more silly, it's not sad at all.
Why do Canadians have to pay the same amount as Americans for Live when we get half of the services? It's BS.
Actually, we pay more because are dollar is worth more after the Bush era ruined the US economy with his lassez fair capitalist agenda.
A lot of the expense goes into graphics, clearly this game didn't break the bank.
