I care a lot more about a controller redesign. In the past 15 years advances in ergonomics have largely been ignored by Sony.
At least make convex analogs and give the triggers more spring resistance.
D-pad is perfect though.
The funnest enemies to fight in Halo were the elites in Reach on heroic or legendary imo. Never found the Brutes that entertaining.
I'll be happy never to see the flood again, I like Halo because it emphasizes precise aiming not bullet spam.
No, you could tell that the game looked 'different' well before reviews. Its look is naturally intriguing.
Sony should have motivated ($$$) 3rd party devs to implement it in major AAA games, and had a "Better With Move" type thing on it.
It's not about beating Kinect, it's about being able to use Move in more games.
Move is amazing when implemented well and it would have been great to use is as an alternative controlling device but Sony just didn't care enough about it.
For shooters it way faster and more accurate than a...
But it's OK in movies, books and any other medium?
I see you support double standards.
But do you ever trade games in to buy new ones?
I buy almost all my games new but I've traded in a lot of games to get new ones. Sorry, but last years iteration of a sports/shooter game is useless if I'm buying the current years version.
If I can't trade in, I'll just buy half as many games.
I'd buy a lot less new games if I couldn't trade in old ones so this might not produce any increase in new game sales.
I hope Sony gets their focus back, they release great products that are never well executed (like Move) or not enough people know about them.
They should make scalping selectable in the options menu...it is authentic, and a person should be able to choose what level of graphic violence they want.
Games optimized for the hardware and southern island GPU will look much better than general purpose PC games....at first.
So PS4 and 720p will be releasing at the same time...very interesting.
I'm missing guns, PS3 locks up, unlocks are now locked again, my kits switch guns randomly.
BF3 could be a great game but the truth is I find it more frustrating than fun most of the time.
Cool, I've never seen a picture of Mario wearing green armor before.
I think if you purchased the previous version of the game, they should just give you the maps in the next one - it's not like it costs any money to make previously made maps.
I can't wait for the COD fad to be over. Everything comes to an end - Activision will = Acclaim.
This is like a bum saying Bill Gates doesn't know how to make money.
The ego on these kids now a days.
Very true Nodoze.
Waiting is only bad for the first 6 months, after that when the new AAA $60 comes out I just get the 6 month old AAA game for $20-40 that is all patched up.
Most of the time the wait is only 2-3 months for it to drop to $40. I got Skyrim, BF3 and Forza 4 for 40 bucks. I got MGS HD Collection for $20, the list goes on.
Waiting doesn't mean that you won't always have amazing new games to play, it just mean that you w...
The patch is crap, I'm missing guns, unlocks are now suddenly locked again, the MP froze for the fist time, kits randomly switch weapons, hit detection is bonkers and aiming is still off despite disabling AA.
The one good thing is that disabling AA doesn't make the game look much worse at all.
I'm never really excited for another AC game but I'm really looking forward to this one.
Cool article but I hate when they make you click a new page for each picture so I voted that I didn't like the website despite liking the article.
Sadly, Sony is foolish to try and establish superiority with actual game quality. For most consumers, they think the thing that's advertised the most and endorsed by celebrities is the best, irrespective of games.
Also, Sony could have done a lot more in the games department anyways - why can't I use move in BF3, COD, Skyrim, etc., and moreover, why is this the first decent Move focused game?
Obviously, Move is not a priority at Sony. I give MS cred...
