Sony rarely properly markets a game this gen..
I have no idea what Dust 514 is but now I'm a bit intrigued
I'm most excited about seeing Wii U games - I want to see teh graphics.
Other than that:
Halo 4
GTA 5
Last of Us
GOW 4
Won't happen, Sony and MS want a piece of every dollar made on their consoles. So everything will be tightly controlled.
My Space, I swear Nintendo suffers from time lag. Shouldn't facebook be who they are concerned with.
guess it's april fools somewhere now.
If live was free, I know a lot of people what would go back to owning an xbox though.
I totally think MP can make a person get tired of gaming fast. I find MP is not at all relaxing, whether I do well or poorly in it.
It's occasionally really fun sometimes but most of the time it's frustrating (there's a lot of waiting, and gameplay issues, and other people bring down the experience)
I get bored with gaming a few times a year for a few weeks...but then I realize that TV shows mostly sucks an after-work, there isn't that much to do because everyone has work the next day.
It's not like I can afford to go out all the time so gaming becomes a reasonably priced hobby that is more entertaining that the crap on television.
Casuals play iPhone, facebook, etc games mostly. Gaming is something they can take or leave. It's just a time waister.
Core are exactly that, they buy the most popular games and mostly just play MP (people don't want to hear it but core is COD, sports, BF3, Halo etc).
Core is the core of the market.
Hardcore need to master the game, think the more difficult the better or probably just game on $2000 PCs.
I'm definitely not a hardcore gamer, I'm a long-term core gamer. I've been gaming for 20 years but I never trophy/achievement hunt, my favourite games tend to be the most popular ones, I never care about mastering a game.
I play games strictly for fun, if it's not fun I don't care or if I can have more fun an another games, I play that.
I've never logged more than 40 hrs in MP because for some reason it just gets boring but I wish I...
If a PS Vita had all the AAA games (meaning multiplats) with comparable graphics...
I tried Vita it is very cool but until multiplat releases on it are standard I'm staying away.
Sony games are very good but the majority of the best games come from 3rd party imo.
Reach and Forza are among the best in the genre.
Xbox Live is a rip-off but 360s OS has a lot over PS3s.
imo
Woah dude, belay the critique of the totally narly lingo. Author-dude is majorly and most awesomely apprised with the deepest of linguistics.
I though Wii you is going to have the power PS3.5
Maybe Kinect 2 or 3.
If a tablet had all the AAA games with comparable graphics and a controller I'd probably prefer a tablet because it's portable and does so many other things.
I may just move over to PC gaming if that is the case, although I would miss Halo and Uncharted.
I'm fine with a lack of used games if new game prices were lower like on PC. From what I can tell on consoles though, digital copies are more expensive than retail, especially the older the game gets.
How come every gaming article on N4G that isn't a preview or review is negative.
Know what would be more effective, not buying the game....and elite services.
You already gave them $100 a yearly expansion pack, Activision doesn't care if you stop playing for a day when they know you'll spend another $100 next year.
I won't be blown away graphically by anything on consoles, they're pretty old now - it's enough that I'm like "this still looks good despite being on old hardware".
Too bad I can't afford a gaming PC, although mu most anticipated game is Halo 4 so it doesn't matter that much.
