With the exception of MW2 (I had no idea what was going on), the SP is full of thrills and variety and the MP is fun.
I think it's because the games is so smooth. It's nice to look at and feels good when playing (PS3 Black Ops not included)

Halo series popularized FPS on consoles, but the gameplay is more like an old school shooter than the new ones. COD4 popularized modern day shooting gameplay and mechanics and MP to consoles.

3. Black OPs (it's getting up there)
4. MW2 (just over 10 then I got sick of it)
5. Halo Reach (for some reason I find Halo's MP soooo boring - the gameplay is too old and outdated)
I wish Black Ops had a beta for PS3, it has a very LONG way to go still.
PS3 definitely my most used console but I like both my PS3 and 360, less and less my 360 though - all their is to look forward too is Gears 3 now.

I hope sony releases an extra-Slim PS3 that's shiny...that sounded kind of girly but I still want a shiny slimmer PS3 with wireless N and 4 usb ports - headset in each box!
If it's the exact same game and only comes out a year later, IGN would be fools to give it a lower rating.
Although I really liked ME2s story, the whole game was about recruiting people - I needed more plot advancing events.
Oh and I'd love to be able to install the game and not have to switch disks. I found it so dumb that even though both discs were installed, I still had to switch them. Each disc should have the access code for the itself and others.
I think unlocking all achievements and trophies ought to be like gameplay, not too easy but not something that's nearly impossible or requires hours of boredom or constant frustration.
The worst achievements are Killzone 2s reach the top 5% of the leaderboards, who has the time (or skill) to do that.
No, you pay for the game and the box.
Personally, I wouldn't want DLC only consoles, I love having the physical copy. Plus I can trade it in, and my number of purchases wouldn't be limited by bandwith - next gen games will probably average 25 gigs, know how long I would have to wait to play my game, BB is like 10 minutes away.
and I can bring my game to a friends house, or trade games with them.
Physical copies have so many benefits...
