To each their own sure, but currently there's not one core gaming experience on Kinect or any known of in the future. It couldn't even control Mario Bros. accurately and that game has among the simplest controls.
A person can place in the top 3 in a JoyRide race because the game controls itself - the Panzer Dragon-esk game is another alleged "core" game on rails, like Star Wars and Harry Potter.
So yeah, there's a strong argument that t...
If I had to choose between the 2 I get Move, but I need more dedicated Move games that take full advantage of the hardware (meaning play better on move than a DS3) for me to purchase it. Sports Champions isn't enough. I'm hoping given Move's tremendous sales, Sony throws some real resources behind Sorcery to make it a AAA.
I say give them a PS3 so they can see the 360 isn't at all superior and definitely worse value wise. I thought my 360 was the shis until I got PS3 and realized how much MS nickle and dimes for everything. Once I went got a PS3, i felt my 360 was lacking in so many ways. You can't even set your own wallpaper on it, online was essentially the exact same for MP in terms of connection speeds and lag, PS3 had better exclusive games, the few "inferior ports" are really only 0.5...
Just one? They should make 1 & 2 1080p with 60FPS, and remake 3 720p at 60 FPS. That would be awesome and release all three in one 3 disk set.
Lol @ "Where Morgan Webb?"
D+/A+?
Oh it's a love it or hate it game.
Seriously, well done MS!
I still don't want one...
The EA NHL series is consistently one of my fav games every year. So many hours of fun and online competition is a blast.
Not for me, I can no longer stand turnbased RPG grinders. What I want above all else is MGS 1-3 1080p 60 FPS and maybe the PSP games as well
and trophies for MGS4
Kinect's scan in feature is finally realized, allowing users to scan in and real-life chainsaws to use in game.
Followed by flood of YouTube videos of people chainsawing their limbs off accidentally.
I don't know about the US, but in Canada internet TV will never be able to overtake regular cable unless the cable companies want it to because the cable companies are also the ISPs. They decide the bandwith limits, and can easily make internet TV extremely expensive, which they already do.
My "free month" of Netflix cost me over 20 dollars in overage - 60 gigs a month isn't enough for HD viewing, online games and general internet usage (for 1 person! imagi...
I'd say if Sony designs it's hardware in a manner that allows devs to make equivalent multi-plats without spending extra time and resources then Sony will win. MS no longer has any exclusive games to warrant a purchase of its next Xbox over PS4, while Sony has really built up a great catalogue of 1st party games this gen. PS4 will have all of 720s (or whatever it's called) games AND a huge catalogue of some of the best games in the industry exclusive on PS4.
MS ...
That is pretty stupid AI, anyone who says differently is a fanboy. But it doesn't mean that overall the AI in GT is worse - maybe it has better AI drivers in other aspects, it could just be lacking in avoiding stopped cars. I don't have either game so I don't know.
Whatever PaTcher says, assume the opposite.
Kinect is a controller that can't even properly control Super Mario Bros. 1 - a game with two buttion and only left, right, and down.
There is absolutely NO HOPE for a core gaming experience on Kinect ever. All those people who bought it for "future potential" got fooled.
That was awesome
I doubt it, that's a bit risky. They should do the Iraq war.
COD4's campaign was so cool partly because you could see the might of the US military. That seen with all the helicopters flying to get Al Asad (or whatever his name was) with the music was epic.
Check out the video where a guy gets 3rd place in a Joy Ride race by not even moving, the game plays itself, which doesn't make it a game really.
After I watched a video where Kinect couldn't even properly control Super Mario Bros., my last tiny bit of faith in Kinect vanished.
The game has the simplest of controls - left, right, down, jump and fireball. It couldn't even do left and right properly.
There will never be a core gaming experience on Kinect...ever.
If IGN played a sufficient amount of the game, at least insofar of being adequate to properly review the game, they would have known that...and probably had mentioned it in their review.
What they did with GT5 is like playing 10hrs of a 60+ hr RPG and passing judgement on it. I normally respect IGNs reviews, and will continue to do so (albeit with more scepticism), but this time they completely dropped the ball.
They clearly didn't play enough. Would th...
