While Eververse is not a particular positive subject I'm pretty sure that the real issue is the game itself and how the game has been very limited in expanding (no not the expansion pass that's part of the issue) the experience.
Destiny 2 is just not worth $60,$30 tops.

Although very uncommon these days a monthly sub would be much better than the current system.
It avoids these paralyzing in between periods.It also increases the flow of content being put out.
This base game/expansion model is dumb and is an incentive to squeeze every penny out of the game.

The other day I was thinking about buying a bundle,well not anymore.
Having supported a few I can tell you it's wise to stay away from most projects.(It's not like you're being rewarded any way and most of the time it ends in disappointment.)
