It makes it much harder though by preventing certain third-party applications.Not a solution but this is Blizzard.
They have been one of the most rigorous companies fighting this.Not even VACS stands a chance because it allows these applications.i think it sucks because I use monitoring software to keep an eye on my laptop temps.

The difference between SD and HD should easily be visible with certain games.I have to agree with that the difference between 1080p and 2160p is not really that easy to tell.Unless you've played a certain game like The Last of Us on PS3 and then see the PS4 Pro version.That's a very obvious leap. (PS3 version being 720p/30)
I'm not sure if that difference between 1800p and the checkerboard solution is going to make a lot of difference.
Sure it's technically better but will people opt for that while it being more expensive?(Sony could drop the price before the system even launches.)
