Um, really? It was a beta. I would have been pissed if there was a lot of content. Game comes out 9/9 and I've already played 20% of it? No thanks.
Glad that Bungie let us get a taste without ruining the full release.
This is the pitfall of a large-scale beta. "where's the content?" It was free with a pre-order, what the hell do you want out of it?
Oh nice, truefan1 thinks this is bad for Sony.
You know what that means? This is really good for Sony. We all know that whatever this truefan kid says, the opposite is usually true.
Right, Sony would just let all of that happen to the point that only Sony exclusives would be playable on the Playstation. Yup. Totally reasonable.
File this article under "W" for "When non-business people try to talk about business and fail miserably."
Wait, pretty much every article (and comment) on this site can be filed under that same headline. Go figure.
Yikes. Basically nothing you just said was accurate.
You talk about Sony as a whole and then only talk about the XB division of MSFT.
Oh, and those 41 countries you speak of? They won't make much of a difference. The reality is that XB is losing (and continues to lose, thus WIDENING the sales gap) in its two largest markets, the US and UK. If they can't win there, they aren't closing any gap regardless of how the XB1 sells in Mauritania (I have ...
Wait... it is???? OH MY GOD!!!!
I agree with you on the fun factor part. That's why I said I wasn't a fan.
Unfortunately, however, it very much is about sales. As long as it keeps selling, it will continue to be produced and the innovation you are looking for will not be there because "if it ain't broke, why fix it?"
I didn't know it needed saving. I'm not a huge fan of it but it continues to sell extremely well.
I understand all of that. My point still stands. I could make similar excuses about TLOUR if I wanted to.
I own both consoles and will have both games. I have no dog in the fight so to speak. That said, comments like the one above are what's wrong with gaming these days. Little kids with their parents' money. Ugh.
And Marlin, the other games are hitting it because the assets didn't change like they did in Halo 2 and TLOUR.
Um, XB1 is having trouble getting Halo 2 to 1080p/60fps and that game is a decade old. So... kinda shot yourself in the foot on that one.
I have seen both in action as well. The truth is somewhere in between DevelishSix and the other replies to your comment.
There are differences, most notably in texture quality and draw distance. That said, you really have to look out for them to see them. If you're in the middle of a battle, there's no way you notice.
Trust me, no you don't. Graphics were solid, not amazing compared to what's out now or coming out soon, and the game play is flipping horrible.
I haven't touched Ryse in a while now. I pretty much just stick to Titanfall, Watch Dogs and the Destiny beta.
To be fair, they can't disclose certain/most details at this time (and may never do so) for a variety of reasons.

Grow up. Totally not necessary.
I'm more hyped for this than TLOUR, but don't say there are only small differences. TLOUR has made massive upgrades just like Halo 2 has. If I were an XB1 fanboy, I really wouldn't be talking about graphics right now.
This is part of learning when to speak and when to shut up. XB1 is behind in sales and graphics right now. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. Until that changes, you shouldn't go there...
I'm with you there. I have both but prefer the PS4 now because it has the exclusives I care about (outside of Titanfall) and the multiplats perform marginally better (not materially better, but enough so that I'd prefer to have the better experience).
I have my XB1 for the exclusives like Halo and Quantum Break.
Deadpool... that is most certainly not 60fps ;)
Maybe you forgot, but XB1 had Titanfall as a "system seller." Clearly that fell short in terms of what MS was hoping. It sold fine and it's a good game, but not the show-stopper MS had hoped.
And I wouldn't call Infamous nor Killzone "big hitters," at least no more so than Dead Rising or Forza.
Available only on the PS6 and XB3.
Kidding. Sort of...
Don't be a douche bag. You hash tag "idiot" when it would have taken you two seconds to Google the following:

I'll let you read and draw your own conclusions. That is probably a bad idea but so be it. It'll be a learning experience for you.

I'm just surprised you still show your face around here after all the BS you spewed. That's funny.
It was a beta... you should have been getting bored after a few hours. It's a trial of the game, NOT the game.
