You shouldn't bring XB into this conversation. But since you did, I'll allow myself to be bothered to type the following:
They won't have shareplay for a long time regardless of how many system updates they have to improve UI fluidity or add another cute media feature. That's just the way MS operates.
I have an XB1 and I like it. That said, everything just seems kind of half-assed. Half-assed hardware, half-assed Kinect, half-assed exclusivit...
Come on dude. You can read the article. It clearly says this fall.
Math (and reality for that matter) are most certainly not on the menu at N4G.
Yes, unfortunately I do know that. Spending 5 mins clicking around this site will show anyone that a lot of people are taking gaming (a hobby) just a bit too seriously.
I've used these words way too often, but "sad" and "pathetic" and "creepy" come to mind when I look at some of the posts on this site. I don't come here much anymore because of that.
It worked out really well for Crytek... so...
Coincidence that you have Ryse and Rise? Yes, yes that's a coincidence. But my initial point still stands.
"Get out there and beat his record."
Um, probably don't do that. That sounds like a massive time sink. Probably go ahead and get some real-world friends, a girlfriend, hobby, maybe spend some time with your family. I don't know.
Yup.
And many (most) studios started as indie studios. Insomniac and Valve come to mind.
That's not really the point of the disagree button. He voiced his OPINION, and others have disagreed because they have a DIFFERENT opinion.
Let's put this into a real-world example: He says that this game won the conference for him. My opinion is that Bloodborne won the conference for me. We disagree, right? OK, so now what do I do with that disagree button? Press it? Yup, I pressed it.
Super simple stuff.
Actually, out of curiosit...
Christ guys, he does this on purpose to get exactly the response you've given him.
I read his comments for the sheer hilarity, you can't take him seriously. If you're that bothered by his meaningless drivel, just block him and move on. Don't let a bad apple take the fun out of your hobby.
This dude probably has a terrible life. This is all he has. This is probably, LITERALLY, the only place in his entire life where he can "control"...
Lawson, give it a rest. You're the guy already saying Sunset Overdrive is a GOTY candidate.
It's an image compression issue, not the actual game. Take a look at the first photo, now zoom in. If you think that's the AA the game is working with, then I guess I have no more to add.
Unfortunately, the screens aren't of the greatest quality. As aeris said, it gets pixelated when you zoom in. This is not due to the game itself (you'll have to trust me there), but rather compressed images.
Not sure about that comparison as Halo is the premier XB franchise and TR is NOT a premier franchise for PS.
I'm actually not 100% sure what point you're trying to make. But, you "LOL" so I'm sure there's a point in there somewhere. Maybe.
I would agree with both of those comparisons to an extent. I don't see it as a bad thing. Guess some people do. Oh well, can't please everyone.
Having the best of both worlds would be having both consoles and enjoying the exclusives that each has to offer. But no, you had to go break out your inner fanboy and try to ruin the fun.
Do you see the hypocrisy? I really hope so. I promise gaming is more fun when it's a community and not a vitriolic bitch-fest.
Wow, this is one of my most anticipated titles and I'm a bit bummed that the trailer had to end. I wanted to keep watching. Very excited for this now (I was uncertain before because I hadn't seen much outside the usual hype).
Don't freak out on me, but I'm going to make some comparisons to other games that may or may not (it's the latter) be on the XB1. In my opinion, the game play speed looks somewhere in between an Uncharted and Infamous. This is awesome...
It may not be fair, I'm just voicing my opinion.
As I said, I hope it's an awesome game. If so, great, I'm on it. At the same time, the hype that had been built up for me when I thought this would be a launch title was blunted by the lengthy delay. I'm having trouble getting excited for this game again because my brain has moved onto other titles coming out over the next 8 months.
I'm looking forward to witcher and the Order as well. I a...
Whenever a game gets delayed, it loses momentum with me. If it's good, I'll pick it up. If not, that's ok because it's already in the rear view mirror. Pun intended.
What's Microsoft?
Yay, it's not exclusive. Now we can move on. I was interested in this game and I still am. Now the choice will be whether I get it on my XB1 or PS4.
