I say in the article it's an amazing experience, but that doesn't mean it's a great game. Cinematics and story IMO can only take a game so far. Again, this is just my opinion.

We have never said that Zelda was overrated. Actually, anything but that. If you can quote me a specific article that would be great, but as I'm in charge of our writing I can assure you it didn't happen. If you hate us, that's your business, we just try to take an analytic approach to our analysis of games. This is one of them. You may feel it's clickbait, but it's really not. Read the article for yourself; but then again, your mind is made up.

I agree the story is fantastic. I just find the gameplay to be mediocre. Again, it's talked about in the article, and there are a few other points that are made about the medium and whether the cinematic aspect of games is overtaking the gameplay aspect. This is just my sincere opinion about the game, while also question what we are valuing in games; cinematics or gameplay. gameplay is just as important. again this is just my opinion on the last of us. it's not meant to be clickb...

We didn't want to get sued. :)

Because of cinematics/story, or because of the actual gameplay?

I've never said Zelda was overrated. It's not clickbait if you actually read it...what is the balance between cinematics/story and gameplay in games today? What should they be? It's an important question to be asked. BTW If you even know my work I've never said Zelda was overrated. ever. Actually been a Zelda fan since I was like 4 so thanks. :)

I actually found you could explore a LOT in the game, contrary to what a lot of people say. Dowsing is optional. I never used it, save for Gratitude Crystals. The level design, mechanics, water color effect, puzzles, etc. made it the best Zelda game IMO. And for once combat was actually fun in a Zelda game.

I'd rather a game that is dense and full of secrets you can explore than a game with a large but barren overworld.

I admit the motion controls are not for everyone. I thought they were fantastic and had no problem with them, so I can't speak to that. I know people who did though and it really detracted from their experience.

Well, the article is about the best, not favorite :P

how so re-gameplay? I understand motion controls may not be for everyone but I found the gameplay to be superb.

I didn't write this story, but I am VERY excited as well! There are so many awesome titles coming out this year!!!!!

As I wrote this article, I can tell you that this video is for a Wii U title 100%. It has nothing to do with the NX.

totally wrong. Zelda has actually been one of Nintendo's more innovative franchises, with each title being very different than the previous. It's not the same thing recycled over and over again.

going through the article again for the 20th time, there are no typos and the grammar is fine. I don't post my stuff here to get your critique. stick to your own site.

It's insane isn't it!?

Nintendo has TONS of money onhand, way more than Sony, who was initially losing a lot of money. How does that make their future in doubt?

3740d ago 7 agree4 disagreeView comment

It has been. It's mentioned in the article. If you read the article almost every announced title is mentioned.

Xenoblade X is one of the best games to come out this generation.

Actually I know a lot of Zelda fans who HAVEN'T gotten the console because they've been waiting for a Zelda release date, and it's going to be so late into the console's life cycle that they're just waiting until the system becomes discounted. These are hardcore Zelda fans; I don't know about the general public, but I do think a good number of people have held back.
