Xenosaga ftw as a stretch goal!
Tommy is a personal friend not going to lie and we will interview him in about a week, but he is really a quality guy and super talented. I'm definitely backing this.
Retro gaming, for the most part, had more innovation than today's games because they had less to work with and well...had to innovate and get to where we are now, which is such an oversaturated market. It's one of the reasons Indies are thriving SO MUCH right now.
Really excited about this. Tommy is awesome and this looks to be his best album yet. I know I'm a day one backer.
well yeah but i'm saying it's not just working together to get better loot...that's kinda over simplifying it. Destiny is an FPS/RPG/MMO hybrid and does a great job at it. it's just a shame that they keep screwing with weapon rebalancing when it was great when TTK launched.
I do disagree with what Destiny is all about. Yes there are raids, but TTK completely changed Destiny and you can play alone and still get some damned good loot. It's also really OCD-like. The Division, I don't even know, but I'll try the beta this week to see.
I'm looking forward to playing the open beta this weekend. I like Destiny but there are some serious problems with that game right now, especially with PVP. Maybe The Division may be an alternate for us; who knows.
even if it's doing "well" on other platforms it's still a mediocre game at best. EA killed one of the best SW franchises.
Yeah the big thing is the AG 9, at least IMO, is pretty damn durable. and it is very comfortable just imo. I had a sony gold headset I could even use with my XB1 but it snapped...just terrible durability and not even great voice chat. good game audio though.
I find the AG 9 comfortable but I can see why it wouldn't really compare to Turtle Beach, lol.
I've never used the Kral. How is it?
I was playing with my friend heather and she said I sounded great. I think the Turtle Beach headsets are surround rather than stereo, but PDP puts out some great products and $99 is a good price for a quality headset like this, because they can get VERY pricy very fast.
I was floored with the quality of the sound both from in-game audio and my voice from chat with this headset. I'd recommend it to anyone for either the XB1 or PS4.
The whole point of the article is they rebuilt the game, spent 18 months on it, rebuilt the multiplayer maps from the ground up, etc., which other remasters this console generation did not. That is why, in my mind, it is the one remaster worth owning. Just my opinion but you don't see this kind of care in any of the other remasters.
Why? TLOU is fine on PS3, and Uncharted doesn't even have the multiplayer so it's not the full package. Gears was remastered and rebuilt and multiplayer revamped. How are those games more valid to own?
And Gears, though it came out in 2006, was one of last gens best games as well; you're selling it a bit short. But then again they're sony so I guess that counts for something.
well it's kinda both. but still more a remaster and not a pure remake. multiplayer is totally revamped though.
also they remade 19 maps for Gears. and included some different modes. pretty damn impressive honestly.
Actually I did and wasn't all that impressed. It's referenced in the article. Do you know what they went through to make GOW: UE? There's a reason why they aren't doing any more of them...
Gears is my favorite Microsoft franchise and honestly this remaster was so well done. It's a shame that more care isn't put into other remasters/time and effort, instead of being a cheap cash-in. I would love Gears 2 Ultimate, but knowing how much time and effort they put into this it's just not feasible. Props to them though for doing this the right way..
I would love to see this. great series.
