Yes you're correct. They flew from Minot AFB North Dakota to Barksdale Louisiana. I'm an AMMO troop in the USAF. And all I can say is... That whole situation was BS and nothing but a political hay day. Just like when USA got caught selling ARMS to Taiwan...all BS.
Anywho, as for the dude sleeping. Well if your working 12-16 hour days in Security Forces (6 on 1 off) you need something to keep your ass awake in the middle of nowhere guarding a plane or whatever he was gua...
I was using AMD and Intel as an example.
A multitude of tests could have been run, as most GPU and CPU test are conducted in. I know this wasn't the only benchmark/test that was ran. In one of two benchmarks the 5K GPU beats the supercomputer.
This is something that has been talked about for years in how GPUs have a substantial advantage in floating point calculations vs CPUs. I want to see other benchmarks bolstering these claims into real world advantages....
You list a lot of possibilities for the PS3. But once you lose focus you become the Jack of all traits and master of none. Basically what I'm saying here is that Sony is spreading itself too thin with all the different directions it wants to go. First Blu-ray vs HD-DVD, then PSN vs Live, next the battle of the controllers? We still don't have Home, still don't have the mega hits... We don't have a mega hit for the PS3Eye which I have collecting dust.
It needs to focus on...
Pretty isolated testing... AMD could pull out one of 2000 tests vs Intel that it actually wins in and claim victory.
Pretty bad article imho.
I must agree with you Sonarus. I would be much happier with the PS3eye vs anything close to a Wii controller.
Be the innovator Sony, not the duplicator. ...I got a Wii.
Sounds good. I hope it's something close to Marvel vs Capcom 2...only better.
Thanks man, I'm going to need it.
...I've been trying to quit for about 10 years. I'm up for trying something else new. Not sure how in the hell this will work...but hey its only $40.
Thanks for the info man. I will have to break out the Genesis and check those two out for sure. /salute and +1 4u.
@KeiZka
As you can tell from my pic I happen to own both systems (totally 11 systems) but IMHO I do not feel Wii is any competition to the PS3 or Xbox 360. Totally different audience like you said...those that have a Wii that are "real gamers" also own a 360 or a PS3. The only time "I" have seen a person that chose a Wii over the PS3 is because thats all they could afford at the time or the Wii was in short supply.
We all purposely leave out the Wii in comparison. The Wii is a video game console yes...but its in an entirely different league. It doesn't match up like it once did, like Super nintendo and Genesis. Wii has no competitors in features and pricing.
PS3 and Xbox 360 is where it matters for pushing the envelop of home console gaming. You may agree or disagree with me on this but I'm surely not the only one that thinks this way.
This is by no means to be a consumer level product in PS3's life span. This is something on a much more grander scale. Like providing back disk of huge mainframe files and such. Ideal to replace tape drives...
Check out the part with the liquid filled lens. No Blu-Ray player on the market to date has any liquid in the lens.
Splatterhouse 3? I missed two of them then. The only Splatterhouse I knew of was the original on Turbographix 16...which I still own. So regardless this will be a huge upgrade for me. Can't wait. Anything above a 6 average is a buyer in this case. *winks*
The only way I'll pick this up is if it as stable as XP. I'm running Vista on my laptop and this POS has a tendency to BSOD when playing games. So if they don't step their "game up", I won't be buying.
I'm a pro in the game for pulling off lady thongs. *winks*
P.S. I knew where you going with that. *winks*
I'm sorry but I think this is alittle hard to believe. NG2 just can't be this bad. Around an 80 average is believable.
Yes it has great software sales but think of where it could be.
Let's hope the piracy won't be as bad as the original xbox where you could get a 100gig HDD full of games for $150.
Casual gamers are the ones (in my experience) that hack systems first. They feel well hell I can get a one time purchase for all these games for a system I don't play much anyways. Something they used for dorm parties and stuff. I seen it all the time while stationed in Korea. Dude...
I like video games and Final Fantasy...why ain't I on the front page?
another correction...Air Force doesn't have Brigs...we have jails or detention centers.
