You would think that the memory would be getting eaten up by firmware upgrades to the Ps3, but there are many cutbacks in the usage of the memory also, from version 1.5 to 2.0 it cut about 16MBs of used ram.
Your actually right, this is pretty old, but N4G never picked it up for some reason.

Again, this is basically just talking about the shear power behind the XDR ram. The PS3 is brought up because it uses it.

Really though, Vista is a complete failure in my book. Windows XP is by far 400% better then Vista in terms of performance and over all driver support.
I will never go to vista after trying it on my $5.4k(year old now) gaming rig and got speeds worse then a $100 piece of crap box top PC.

From what I've played, and watched my friends play so far, its not "fun" and seems more like a chore then having anything fun about it.
The best thing in the game is probably being able to give your partner daps(hand shakes, uplifting comments) in game, as this makes you have a slight bit of emotion as to playing it with out doing it.
Was playing it on the PS3, so that maybe also an issue.
Take that in to account before making a decision.
I liked this much better then any game last generation, as well as this generation.
played it for only 30 minutes, but hated it, it showed that EA cant stop with the loading screens and horrible game play mechanics.
I wouldn't suggest this game to even friends to play, as even with team work its just duck and shoot, with blind enemy's that shoot at the guy thats shooting the bigger gun.
I think if you have played Call of Duty 4 and liked it, this is going to be a rude awakening to how bad it can get.

I will most likely stick with call of duty 4 till something amazing comes out again that sets the standards once again as call of duty 4 did to FPS on console.

Bittorrent is the victor at this point in the game, but your forgetting that there are more people then your self and internet savvy people such as your self, and many others on the net.
The issue comes that DLC isnt for everyone, and not everyone can get internet in there areas. You have to think of the "dumbies" also, as most plan folk wouldnt know what download even means, as they are just starting to understand what Blu-ray is.
