You can turn off all notifications ingame, its in the settings, I just cant remember the full path, most likely in chat settings or something.
If its about me not using 360 specs as a reference, you will be sadly disappointed at the architecture choices, as its capable of running memory at 5.4GHz(1.4GHz faster then the PS3 can achieve)but lacks memory able to run at these speeds(700MHz caped).
The 3 processors on board have 32KB of dedicated memory(cache) and the system runs at 3.2GHz a second...
