Mario Kart 8 Deluxe alone, makes me want to have online. I'm sure a lot will get it for Splat2n".
There will be more reasons to have it, eventually, but I know for a fact that it is free initally until Fall, so we'll all get to try it out at launch.
Oh well, I got an official Sandisk 64gb for about $20 on Amazon. That will tide me over for a while.
Not gonna invest in a bigger one until the prices drop some more.
Hell, after the price of the console with tax at $330, the charging grip at $30 and Zelda at about $50 (Amazon Prime) I'm already over $400 into this thing. I don't regret it, just gotta watch so I don't spend too much (wife will not be happy if I did, LOL).
An 88 is pretty damn solid.
Besides, reviews are just opinions. I stick with the positive ones for the most part. If you read the negative or mixed reviews, it will point out the potential drawbacks in a game. I find that I tend to notice them more when I play.
For example, Destiny sits at 76. But I've gotten literally thousands of hours of enjoyment out of it and it's expansions. I don't let the haters tell me whether I should like a game or...
Dude, read the story.
No, not a metacritic site. But Horizon is at an 88 currently with about 80 sites contributing.
Nothing personal towards this site, they give nice reviews. I just see a lot of run-on sentences. They may need better editing.
I went to the event here in Chicago today, they stated that passes would be given out at 8am, but when we got there, we found out that they gave out all the passes at 6am! I went to the Wii U event years ago and don't recall having any problems getting in. I think they may have changed their marketing people or the marketing company changed employees.
The marketing company then told us to "leave, no one else is getting in". They were quite nasty in doing so. I...
damn, I hope so.. I'd love to see another Sony handheld. I've had both and loved them dearly.
Are they releasing Mario Kart 8 on it by any chance? /s
I loved these games too, back when they were released.
However, when I downloaded both of them about a year ago, now, I found a lot of bugs and glitches in the digital versions that I'm sure weren't there when I played them originally on physical.
Hopefully, they've fixed them.
I think the future of consoles will be something like this; which is very PC-like, but still not quite a PC.
What I mean is, I can see a Sony and MS (and somewhat doubtful for Nintendo, even though I love Nintendo) making something that looks like your traditional console, but every few years you can quite simply take out the main processing parts and replace them with updated specs.
Here's an example of what I'm saying:
Imagine...
200 Hours, that's about what I spent on Destiny 1 in the first month and a half!
I'll buy it, Destiny 1 has given me so much joy and so many hours of quality gaming that I fully back Bungie. I'm sure they learned from their mistakes and will really bring it with D2. Even if I only get 200 hours out of D2, it'll be 10 times as much as 99% of the games out there.
I still have reservations, but for me, Destiny is my go-to game. The Vanilla disc has not left my Xbox One since it launched, basically. As for PS4, I downloaded it, because of all o...
Weapon Re-rolling was the most addicting aspect of any game I've ever played in 35 years. I broke down so many great weapons to get more weapon parts so I could feed my addiction, LOL.
I'd rather see a new IP, instead.
A smarter move would be a new IP and a Gears of War 4 - 4K edition for the Scorpio.
I liked GoW 4, but I'm not ready for 5, I haven't even finished 4!
Hell, I'd be happy if it was Bulletstorm 2!!
I've not shopped at Gamestop, pretty much at the same time as I discovered eBay and Amazon, about 14 years ago.
Once in a great while, when I have no choice, I'll shop there, for something like the Nintendo Switch Console and Pro Controller, because it was the ONLY place I could find them, without having to pay a scalper.
I used to buy pre owned games sometimes, so I could "try and buy", but I've got Gamefly for that, now.
...
I think it's credible. I've got the original "Fallen Walker" set and it accurately portrays a scene in the game, albeit a somewhat normal event that happens during "public events".
The Cabal story has not been fleshed out, so it could either be a Destiny 2 plot point or even something pointing towards the next (and most likely) last update in destiny 1, which is coming soon, since Bungie has publicly stated that they are not doing a Valentines d...
Maybe it's just that I just woke up, but does anyone understand what the article is talking about?
(Not the header, the ACTUAL article that is linked above)
I'm fairly certain this will launch with Crackdown 3, which will be the "killer" app / "system seller".
I've still got my OG Xbox one, so I was tempted at one point to get an S, especially when I saw one on ebay today for 219.99 with a copy of Battlefield 1 (a helluva sale).
I think with MS trying to sell the S models off, we may see something soon on Scorpio, possibly prior to E3.
I'm still on the fence...
HHG was an interesting and entertaining twist on gaming news.
I remember watching some of his videos back in the day that were here on N4G, I haven't seen one in what seems like years.
I don't have the space for a desktop or the money for a decent laptop.
My Xbox one is quite "relevant".
It's going to be half or less than half the cost of PSN or XBL:
