Looks really fun. Reminds me of Destiny in some ways (I'm not familiar with any other mmo - type games).

I'll probably get this for Switch when it launches.

It could, but it probably won't happen.

I can't see it taking a long time to put together, but the teams are certainly putting all their time into D2.

Age of Triumph is a pretty substantial update (being a free update, to boot). So I don't see them doing this, but it would be a nice surprise if they did.

First of all, it's a great idea, and perfect for those who play their Switch on the go on long trips.

I like it, but I'm not sure that I want to pay $85 for a battery extender with a better dock.

I play my Switch on the go, often, but I always have enough battery life, since I only play for 1 or 2 hours at the most. I've got a external charger, so if I really need some more time, I'll use that.

Now, if I were to make t...

@PeaSFor:

Yeah, I sold mine not long after the DLC finished coming out, there really wasn't much to look forward to for my taste after that.

Soul Sacrifice was one of those games that I spent a ton of time on, both solo and with friends and the community. That game hit the mark in so many ways, it begs the question of why they didn't continue that basis for their subsequent titles.

I enjoyed Recore for what it was, but yeah, it was somewhat disappointing.

No way I'll pay twice for something that basically fixes what should have been in the original release that many of us paid $40 US ...

I don't care really, either way. I enjoy the Switch the way it is.

But from a sales & marketing standpoint, it makes sense, maybe after some time, if and when the system sales begin to wane they'll do something akin to this, they've done similar things before and it's been both a fiscal and critical success.

Whatever they do to install a higher user base and in turn bring the third party games in, is a positive for the consumers and th...

3 hours isn't too bad. I usually play at a higher brightness, but I keep a high-end portable battery charger and USB cable that works with my Switch. So I'll probably get a few hours or more with that.

I'm looking forward to it, even though I five-starred the original on Wii U.

Fast RMX has kept me busy in the meantime, and with the new patch out today, it'll keep me busy for another week and a half (not to mention I'm still playing Z...

Interesting. Basically gives you a great feature of the elite controller, but for how much?

If they price it too high, then you're better off getting an Elite controller. In some cases you can find them for around $120 US, So you'd have to price these things right.

So, would it be worth it to buy this, or just get an elite that has trigger locks, rear paddles, customizeable sticks and D-pad?

Probably not, but I'll keep an op...

I snagged two really quick yesterday on Craigslist after the announcement.

Then sold one of them to pay for both.

Got myself a free Nintendo Classic Edition - bam!

Think smarter... not harder - said someone.

Sorry Nintendo, maybe I'm just old-school, but I prefer my Monopoly on a board, with my friends and family in the living room. This is shovel-ware-original-Wii-crap again, in my opinion.

Give me some some real first party IPs and new IPs I can enjoy playing. That's why I bought Nintendo Switch, for Nintendo games. I have a PS4 & Xbox one for those other games.

As for third party stuff, I would love to see some new IPs, not just some last gen ...

Exactly what does "going on call of duty articles telling people how much I hate it?" have anything to do with my comment?

I clearly stated that "I still love N4G" despite a few flaws.

Did N4G suddenly hire the mentally challenged to be the "N4G Police"?

Ok, I'm sorry, I'm done feeding the comment trolls.

I agree with you, Kun. But it's articles like this that seem to shoot straight to the top spot on here. Sad, really, but it's what makes this site so popular.

I'm not blaming N4G, you do what keeps food on the table. I don't believe that when N4G was created that this was their intention.

I've been on this site for around 8 years and it's pretty much been this way since I can remember. I still love N4G, but like any sites, it'...

PS4. The games (which are what make a console great) they released in Q1 were just amazing. My backlog is insane, Horizon, Nier Automata, Toukiden 2 (to name a few). Not to mention that they also retained their relationship with Bungie for Destiny 2 exclusive content.

I enjoy my Switch, but only having 1 or 2 decent games (in my case Zelda and Fast RMX) makes Nintendo second IMHO.

As for Xbox one... Well, let's just say that mine is collecting some se...

I really am not a fan of "skins" in any game and I refuse to pay money for something that only changes aesthetics.

Nothing mind-blowing, but to have Mario Kart 8 portable on my Switch will be nice.. Not sure it's $59.99 worth, but it's a great game and probably the best Kart racer I've ever played. I'm getting it, but it's one of those things where I'm still kinda wincing at the fact I paid so much for it.... AGAIN.

I don't think it's about "having to press a button twice". It's more that they changed something that was already quite simple and "comfortable".

Imagine if you pressed the PS4 button and it took you to something other than than the home screen. It would kinda suck (I've had both companies systems since the OG Xbox and the PS1).

I'm willing to give it a chance, maybe it is better, but at the moment it feels "...

I agree. I've been on Xbox live damn near it's inception and while I did finally get totally used to the original setup, (one press on the home button took you back to the "home" screen") they go and change it. I even refuse to be a beta tester on dashboard updates, since they always seem to be a downgrade, or so different that they take a while to grow used to.

It's WaYYYYY too much at $59.99 msrp. I could see maybe half that, but asking 60 bucks for what's basically the same game is crazy.

I played it on Wii U, it was about a 7/10 for me. To have the audacity to ask the same price 4 years later is fucked up and a slap in the face to us as consumers.

Wait. Til it's in the bargain bin.

$400.

Any more than that would make it DOA.
