Could be interesting. Though as interactive movies go, I preferred Burn:Cycle
Same here. I was lucky enough to own the Vic20 and C64, while my mates had Spectrums. The arguments we had make the console wars look like a tea party ;)
My era too. People complaining about sharpness issues and crushed blacks should be forced to experience colour clash on the speccy, poor zx conversions on the CPC and the re-adjustment of tape heads on C64 (usually after a 5-minute load fail, sending you to an obnoxious READY■ prompt)
Eh, I'll wait for the digital foundry comparison. Only when I see side-by-side PS4/C64 screenshots will I be satisfied.
I've played it for an hour and it seems fantastic, I just have a job to go to :/
First person
@hellzsupernova good for you, but I have no idea what that has to do with a PS4 trailer. There is PC news on N4G, maybe you'd be better off there. Unless this is an e-peen thing for you, in which case I'm wasting my breath...
Just bought it myself... bit bummed cos i have a hospital appointment before I can get home to play it :/ This game looks like it knows what it is; no pretence of GOTY storytelling, no shoehorning in of multiplayer. Exactly what this industry needs IMHO. Can't wait to get home and fire up the PS4.
Thanks for the tip GG, was about to start this myself and would be pretty gutted if I lost my progress :) +helpful
Agreed; but two wrongs most certainly don't make a right. I hate seeing such bad sportsmanship from either camp.
Afaik from other articles, the embargo lifts on release day
I agree with you. Buy it's 'couldn't care less' I don't know where 'could care less' has come from. Sorry to be pedantic; besides this I agree fully.
I imagine it was with dual - wield RPGs
I would encourage your PS4 to come out of the closet. There are some superb games for it, unless it's one of those imaginary PS4s; they had a 100% factory failure rate and only play indie games. Plus 100% of the users of the Imaginary model of PS4 got it early and ebayed it immediately. So come on PS4, come out of the closet, there's no shame in greatness.
Maybe
@morganfell I get the impression you're right, going by the comment sections on the other reviews...
I've actually really enjoyed this game. Visually it's a little lo-fi, but something about the combat just clicked for me... strange how it's so polarising.
@kamisama agreed. It does seem pretty douchey to affix a winking smiley after a comment on peoples livelihoods. Anyway, aren't we supposed to be 'all about the games' now? or is that just until Sony's financial woes come into focus? Playstation isn't going anywhere, with or without Sony... so it's getting pretty annoying how some are using Sony's fiscal struggles as a stick to beat PS with. Our industry is growing up, maybe its time for its acolytes to do the sam...
People. People with opinions.
I've got a rough English translation:
"Before watching the gameplay videos (on my 1080p TV) last night, I was convinced I should cancel my pre - order. After watching, however, I have decided to get it after all; there are no visible downgrades from e3 2013 IMHO and very smooth gameplay on show. I can't wait!"
