Next we'll be hearing about 'Crush Whores' who work the streets just for one more fix of that sweet sweet casual-crack.
Gears collection would be great. Because the XB1 is my first MS console, i've missed out on every gears and halo. Can't wait to see what all the fuss is about.
Oh very professional of you. Pro-tip: don't take things personally and then proceed to insult someone commenting on your article. It seriously hurts your credibility as a journalist. Thick skin is a pre-requisite.
@SonyMasterRace nooo, they are a game developer, they develop games for games consoles. I really hope they develop some ps4 games this gen, but just because they are giving xbox gamers (who are people too btw) a decent exclusive, doesn't mean I'd be enough of a tard to boycott their games, they are (generally) awesome.
C'mon, seriously? I mean any regular commenter will know I'm mostly a ps4 gamer, but you can't deny the xbox has some pretty varied and tasty exclusives. The only brown in sunset overdrive is the brown in my pants when I clocked its awesomeness.
About 50% of those billion voice commands were probably me accidentally starting Skype, when I CLEARLY said 'xbox turn off' oh, the frustration.
'Hard Rockers' that's a very 'grandpa' way of describing Linkin Park. Glad the game is good though :)
Same here. Destiny was barely on my radar; but having tried the Alpha, it's jumped into the upper echelons of my most anticipated. Game just feels right.
@software lover true, but as a general rule, pre-rendered cgi cutscenes have been a staple since the advent of 3d gaming. Such pre-rendered scenes have generally outpaced the graphical quality of the game engine by a fair amount. We're now in an era where this is becoming less and less common and I, for one, consider that a fair measure of our technological progress (in video gaming)
Real time cinematics in this context would be a cutscene that is rendered in-engine in real time, as opposed to pre-rendered CGI
That's funny, I got my first VR experience at the Trocadero as well lol. It was a game called 'Dactyl Nightmare' on a Virtuality 1000 series, very cool for its time-i highly recommend anyone with an interest in VR circa 1993ish check it out on YouTube. Anyhow, glad it's FINALLY going to make it into my living room :D
It's there, just not in the IGC yet. If you go to games> latest it is currently at the top, free for psplus subscribers.
Good god, you're antagonistic. The problem is that, even if you have a valid argument, it is buried under vitriol and schoolboy-grade insults/thin threats. I've seen a lot of trolling on n4g, but it's rare to see a bona fida 'Internet Tough Guy'. Congratulations, your mother must be so proud...
Apparently you're wrong, because Internet.
Unfortunately so. The game needs online authentication to run, but many users have been running into issues doing so.
Really hope sony have a good showing this year. They've got so much momentum at the moment that now would be a poor time to drop the ball. Microsoft are almost guaranteed to pull out all the stops, and I can see them moneyhatting a multiplat just to knock it out of the park. As a predominantly PS fan this could be cause for concern, as a cornered animal is the most dangerous. Here's hoping sony don't let us down.
It's the same old story... and the link is an incidental one that speaks more of mental health than anything. Call of Duty, like many games of its ilk, has that whole reward-loop going, which instils a sense of achievement. Video games have always been a release for people with severe mental health conditions, because for that moment in time, you can be somebody, you're a badass who cannot be bullied. So if anything, this release of agression, rewarding feedback-loop and sense of a...
@spikes actually Activision was the first third party developer after the founders left Atari. They published as well, but from the beginning in '79 they were devs.
@godmars lol yeah, I remember when my Dad used to work for the Ministry of Defence; pockets full of random punch - cards that probably should've been turned in end of shift. We've certainly come a long way.
Well, Wolfenstein had a release day embargo and got some great reviews (deservedly so), so it seems to be no reliable indicator that the game will be below par.
Lol yeah, I tend to flit between my One and PS4 quite a lot (currently forza and Titanfall on XBox and WatchDogs/Wolfenstein on PS4) , and often find myself trying to talk to my PS4. I've only had the one for a couple of weeks, but I'm already sold on the whole User Interface side of things. Great system.
