The PS one was a big deal for me in the early 90's It's still my all time greatest console thus far, and will be talked about for decades to come.
There were so many games to choose from, and so much more, thanks to the innovative Demo disk pack--ins.
I loooved those demos. ^_^
I'm currently holding off the Firmware 3.0, and I'm kinda glad I did considering the reports.
Hopefully this firmware will be the one I jump aboard.
and why oh why does this article even exist?
My personal favorite is the quote "War has changed"
Wow...now that's tiny. 0_0
the reality show idea sounds cool to me. I, personally hate reality shows since they are all carbon copies of American Idol and Survivor.
Hopefully, this show, with a theme of gaming, can be done well and keep me interested.
This is how the article headline should have been written http://www.gamasutra.com/ph...
Notice how it doesn't cheaply act as flame bait to get hits, but states obvious facts in a unbiased way.
sales are looking good. Puts articles like this to shame.

Its no surprise to me to see IGN stoop this low. They've been like that for some time now, and its painful to see so many gamers realize this truth at this late of a stage.
That being said, you're now all the more wiser as a gamer. I was the same way believing that IGN was a man among boys.
I was wrong...We all were.
Can you say Spin City?

What do you expect, when there's anticipation for a slim model?/facepalm.
I never knew a "Thank You" from Sony was such a big deal for you guys. Considering the hill they have climbed up til now, I am glad they, at least, considered it.
I'm telling you guys. This list isn't a logical list. Its almost a given that the NES will be number 1.
Mark my words.
The PS2 will most likely be #2 or 3 depending on where the SNES is in their minds. the Genesis is most certainly #4 for its lineup of games, but the SNES could easily be number 3 because it won that generation.
Anywho, this is how I "predict" its gonna go down:
Day 5(tomorrow)
#5 Atari 2600 its the fat...
I never am that big of a fan on "the biggest exclusives" as this type of question is quite subjective and based on your tastes as a gamer. I have always bought games, regardless of platform. Games, like Sonic Unleashed and Burnout Paradise, are really awesome games when you sit down to play them. I would play these games whether IGN gave them a great score or not. I also wouldn't care if these games are also available on Xbox 360. Since when did another platform diminish the quality...

gumgum: Mr owl, how many licks does it take to find out the Xbox 360 install rate?
Mr. Owl: well let's see...

gumgum:...oh >_>
I'm loving the new boxart. I'm loving the new logo.
I'm loving the new face of the PS3.
I bet all the money in the universe that the top console is the NES. Why? Because IGN always does this with their lists. A top 25 list of game changing list can never compete with a console that "saved our industry".
In short, a list such as this can never be a fair list because of that one fact that Nintendo "saved" gaming. These types of criterias should not be allowed in top # lists as it automatically downplays any company that is not Nintendo.
nothing ever is...
