Indeed, this is such an epic game. I'm roughly halfway through, but one of the things I'm really liking outside the gameplay and levels is the music. They really outdone themselves with some of the tunes here. The synth stuff for Classic Sonic is all kinds of eargasm.
Let's Tap? That's kind of an odd choice. Sure everything responds to tapping, but its a far cry from, say, Big Rigs or Superman 64, in terms of engaging gameplay.
lol, I agree. I get bored from even watching it, which is a rare thing from the videos I've watched.
bought the game last night. I'm quite pleased with it so far. ^_^
the 360 version seems more vibrant compared to the PS3. I always find that odd. At any rate, this is going to be a great game, I think, and I'm sure the PS3 version I'm getting will be fun in its own right.
well, its nice to see the possibility of 4 tablets rekindled. ^_^
You can tell so much from preview without playing the game!, wait...
You based all this on a demo???
Have you?
I expect great things from this game, and its looking good so far. Every title seems to add more than the last, which is a very healthy thing for a franchise that is 20 years old.
and I consider the 3DS to have the potential to be the GBA of this coming generation. With som many games coming for it this fall and in 2012 plus the many games on Nintendo eshop make the 3DS one of the best handhelds going forward yet.
It may not look it now, but then again neither did the original DS. Its not how you start, but how you finish.
If this is true, that would be really sweet. The possibilities are almost endless.
Not at all, but Sonic did attempt the feat "of good game" last year is all I'm getting at.
No need to get so defensive, silva. I enjoy our debates though. ^_^
Edit: At any rate, it is nice to see the blue blur get noticed again. Even if the positive reaction is somewhat deja vu.
That's where renting comes in. For a few bucks, you can check the gameplay out, and if you still don't like what you find, you can take it back. Its how I discovered so many new games including the reason I got back into sonic series.
lol, Sonic Generations score is front page news. Where were you guys in 2010? I bet none of you own a Wii now, do you. :)
This is what happens when a game gets a high score. Everyone suddenly changes their tune as to their intentions of getting the game.
Remember back when games were bought based on gameplay?
Why would you want that?
Sonic Generations is a celebration of Sonic's past, not an archive of the series' skeletons.
He's Sega's Mascot.
I don't here this with Nintendo, do I?
not this one. This one has an engine built by Taxman from Sonic Retro.
indeed, Its the experience that should remain in deciding a purchase. I know we all have lives, and are busy and whatnot, but giving it a rental, at least, can really change your mind on some games you otherwise would not have given a second thought. a number and an opinion can only tell you so much.
