buenos dias! ^_^
The Tortoise and the Hare. That's how I see this console race playing out, and the PS3 is proving my theory by the year.
Day 1
Just goes to show you that a good game will sell no matter what the genre. LBP had a slow start, but thanks to word-of-mouth, it caught on and is still selling well to this day.
Its cool to see such enthusiasm from a developer like Alex Evans. He really loves what he does for a living, and is very humble in his inspiration from other Sony games, and even borrowing techniques from them.
LBP2 definitely has proved me wrong in a possible sequel, and is pretty much what a sequel to LBP should be and has exceeded that on so many levels.
Modnation Racers, Sonic 4, Ape Escape 4, and now LBP2. The list for 2010 just keeps on growing.
Sure is a big, busy news day here on N4G thanks, in part, to LBP2. ^_^
Awesome trailer. Definitely excited for this new game. The Never ending game just got bigger.
PS3 Mascot>Sackboy
I wouldn't give up on 3D Sonic just yet. What is the point of the race if you walk away 3 feet from the finish line. Would you just quit if you are on the final lap, or will you perfect your run and get it right.
All this doom and gloom is very one-sided, and hardly tells the whole story as to "Why" Sega is in this position, and how much progress Sega has made since then.
Everyone really needs to cut Sega some slack every once in a while. Sega had a rough mid decade from 2005 onward, and just began getting better with 2008's Sonic Unleashed. They have made many bad decisions up to this point, but now they have finally gotten a hang of things for Sonic, we are already shooting him down? Why?
Let Sega make their Sonic 4 already, and stop being pessimistic on Sega's progress.

Oh, go play with your red ball, or something..
That's what I figured too.
Just when you thought there couldn't be any more mind-blowing news After LBP2, Sony drops a nuke with a new Ape Escape for PS3.
PlayStation has officially gone into high gear for 2010. ^_^
I like my Wii. I may use it for Smash bros Melee these days, but I have no regrets purchasing a Wii in 2007(they were so hard to find, lol).
Its the ultimate retro console afterall.
I remember my eyes hurting a little during the Avatar movie in theaters. Hopefully the 3DS isn't like that.
Why Sony??? Why do you have so many games that I have to buy?
I was against a LBP sequel for some time now, but should these additions be included in LBP2 than I'm in. ^_^
"The DSi’s $169 price point and the DSi XL’s $189 price point make the purchase of a $199 iPod Touch more tempting in 2010. While we think that the DS is a superior gaming platform, the iPod is a more versatile device, and has a 'coolness' factor that is difficult to overcome. The introduction of the 3DS some time this fiscal year may serve to hold off substitution of iPod Touch for DS, but we think that ultimately, Apple will gain share in the handheld market,..."

"In the future, lower pricing on the PS3 and Xbox 360 will provide consumers with a more difficult choice when considering a new console. The Wii enjoyed a $350 price advantage over the PS3 at launch, and a $150 advantage until September. Now, the gap has narrowed to $100, with the feature-laden PS3 a tempting purchase for prospective console households. The holiday Wii sales boost was primarily attributable to a $50 gift card promotion offered by Wal-Mart; while we expect similar promot...
So that's where the translator went. ^_^
