oh the irony...
Sure is an awesome day today. New google search, and now a new N4G. Great job guys.
Time to do some browsing back at N4G--Holy crap, this looks fantastic!
Ain't that the truth.
Thanks, Gamestop, for proving the rumors true. ^_^ Your anger has only added gasoline to the fire. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Wow, the last Halo game...hope everyone enjoys it when it comes out. There was always something special about Halo that no other shooter had for me, and I'm glad that Halo will be going out on a high note. Unlike many developers in the field these days, at least Bungie has the decency when to cap it off.
As good as the games were, I personally, couldn't imagine the formula being perfected any more for Halo than it already is.
His reply was in reference to Harbour city, in that he is NOT making that PS2 game.
The last golden era for me was during the 16-bit and 32-bit era, which is when the PS one came in. Sadly the closest this generation will ever see in originality of previous gens is to look at the indie development scene. With a small development crew, and a very affordable development kit in hand, these Independent studios have much less to fear as far as development costs of a game, since their production costs are far cheaper than something outta Naughty Dog. This also makes their creativ...
Yeah, I had my doubts on the PS3 when it launched, but who didn't. It launched at $600, and came with very few interesting games(although Ridge Racer was always awesome ^_^). It wasn't until 2008 where I really felt the PlayStation 3 was really coming unto its own. With games like LBP, Motorstorm, the release of Metal Gear, and the PlayStation Network that was getting better and better, I finally gave in and bought a used PS3 that spring.
I eventually traded that PS3 in for a coo...

Out of all the ones listed, I believe Sonic has the greatest chance in being successful again in both dimensions. Titles like Sonic 2006 are just examples of bad games that could've been great, had the game had more development time, and the quality of the 3D titles has been improving with time since then, so I wouldn't count Sonic out of 3D just yet.
Here's to a great Sonic 4.

There's pricing...for demoes???
Well, that's their choice and problem Nintendo can't help it if people are impulsive and unable to resist what is, essentially, a bigger DSi.
Especially if there is a 3DS down the road.
Whatever happened to "not buying it", when you ran out of spare cash?

The opposite is what I fear for video games.
I completely disagree with this direction.
Unlike (most) American Developer bretheren, gaming manuals from Japan were more than just instructions on how to insert a disk. They provided vast, detailed character bios, and much insight into the game's prolougue. In many ways, it was like a mini story digest of the game that actually was worth reading when I wasn't playing the game. Cliffy B may not see much point in a "physical, tangible product", such as a game manual, b...
