lol, what? What's so fanboy about stating the obvious? Even if it is merely a coincidence, you can't deny the fact that Microsoft had its fair share of products that are eerily similar in either design or purpose.
and for the record, I'm a fanboy...of great games. The hardware, itself makes no difference to me.
I never had a problem with the 3D songs(well, except maybe the secret rings theme), in fact, I see them at equal level as the classics in their own way.
That's pretty awesome to hear. I won't be getting it, as I have them already for Dreamcast, but as one of the best 3D Sonic games to date, you can't go wrong with this purchase.
actually, I think Sonic is on the brink of a possible renaissance in the franchise with Sonic Colors and Sonic 4. Whether or not these two titles achieve this remains to be seen,, but from what I heard so far, I sense much "variety" in its gameplay concepts.
I definitely agree that there should be some balance to just how many games he appears in. It would also be nice to see some more new characters in their roster to add some freshness to their catalog. As much as I enjoy the Mario outings, it is starting to feel a little repetitive for me as a gamer. I realize many here don't feel this way, and will be quick to disagree, but in my opinion, I'm not seeing enough fresh variety from Mario so far, and Galaxy 2 just doesn't fulfill that...
If the supposed rebranding and slim model are real,, then its just further proof of Microsoft's "me too" image.
so that's what the bottom of a shoe looks like... >.>
lol, that made my day.
Time will tell if their Kirby tactics will payoff.
My loyalty is to great games. Its how I've always picked my game systems, and what ultimately decides my purchases.
That being said, I enjoyed the article. Well written.
pretty much what Al Bundy said.
Um, just so you know...
That great gravity mechanic that Made Galaxy so famous: http://www.youtube.com/watc... and that Planetary travel... http://www.youtube.com/watc... was done ages ago in Sonic Adventure 2.
Its not that Sega is not original, its just that people these days tend to have s...
The problem with the last games wasn't the 3D but rather not properly implementing features that were suppose to enhance the Sonic gameplay without compromise. Hopefully Sonic Colors will change that. ^_^
I like how the author pretends the Adventure games, and the Daytime stages of Unleashed were not very decent outings for 3D at all. I know everyone has a right to an opinion, but letting that hatred taint the past, which had some very good demonstrations of Sonic and 3D, is a really sad fallacy.
and no, there is no such thing as a "last chance" for Sonic. The 3D games are improving, and if you want to live in denial, then that is your lost. I know that I'm not ...
They can't, Sonic is the biggest thing to Mario Sega has. Shenmue has nowhere near as popularity as Sonic.
Mario's drill just goes to the other side and pops out, this one will be more like those 2D action games, like drill dozer, that used a drill to dig underneath one area to go to another, however, if you're underground too long, you'll die.
The similarities, for the most part, are merely coincidental. ^_^
sigh, Only in America/facepalm
Sonic Colors and Sonic 4 ftw!! >.<
yes, Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors will be there at E3 as well. Its a great lineup for Sega overall. ^_^
lol, wow that made my night.
