Awesome sauce. Now even more people can enjoy the classic first 3D adventure for Sonic.
wow...29 pages for this??
The funny thing about this article is that it argues on how gamers are going back and forth on franchises selling more than so and so combined, yet this article ends up doing just that: by stating, although true, that Mario has sold more than Gran Turismo and Halo combined.
on a unbiased moral scale, its a bit self-contradictory to shun sales numbers of two franchises for another.
I know that Avatar made my eyes sore (like wearing glasss >.>) My eyes are fine though.
I just think the 3D technology needs to improve so our eyes can better except it, that's all. Hopefully the 3DS won't be too bad in longer play sessions.
Its really cool to see Earthworm Jim back into gaming. I don't remember playing the games, but I do remember them being pretty good.
2010 is shaping up to be a big year for gaming that will be remembered years from now.
Many mascots are making comebacks, and those who haven't are receiving universal acclaim.
Interesting boxart. I guess you can't go wring with this one. could've been alot worse.
Edit: wow, I have 4 buubbles! So does a lot of people on this page. ^_^
Well, naturally. The PS3 is more optimized for HD than the 360, with the blu-ray and all.
I'm surprised the Crash bandicoot power ups didn't make it in.
hehehe ^_^ http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I honestly don't even see why it even matters if Japanese developers use the Unreal engine or not. I thought the reason why we play games was for the gameplay, not the graphics. A game could have the best western engine on the market, but if the gameplay stinks, then it just doesn't amount to anything.
I think Japan should stick to what they do well because it something that the western world certainly has a lot of catching up to do.
That's funny,I thought it was the other way around. >.>
I really can't see this happening for obvious reasons(I mean, its Mario for crying out loud!). The graphics for Galaxy 1 just felt "right" for a Wii game, so I see no reason for its sequel to need any more of a push on 360.
Besides, it just wouldn't feel right...again, for obvious reasons.
and so it begins... All that's left is a price cut, which should be announced around E3, or near the upcoming 3DS launch.
Nice to see Sonic up there at #8, and of course Mario is the king with 200+ sales. Pokemon and Final Fantasy are pretty high up as well. ^_^
Is this boxart really real, or is it a mockup?
Something going multiplatform is hardly a sign of throwing in the towel when you have a backlog of titles to outweigh such announcements.
If their E3 is even close to the one from last year than I'm sold.
I'm tempted to link to that overused meme from a few days ago, but I'm gonna sit this one out and see if something better shows up at E3 or not.
I'm hoping for a good impact. That PS3 render in the headline above is gorgeous btw.
that would be pretty awesome. 720p, leaderboards,...oh!!>.<
