This has to be one of the best press conferences since the 2004 one with Zelda and the original Nintendo DS In fact, one could say it surpasses it.

It was worse. It was almost like they drew inspiration from the 2008 Nintendo conference.
No, because the design does not appeal to me, and the system itself has not been proven to be more reliable than the original. Also, the game lineup kinda stinks.

In all seriousness though I really am surprised. I really was giving them the benefit of the doubt by pulling something out of thin air to prove pre-conceptions wrong. Quite a shock. There is still the E3 Microsoft conference, so it isn't all doom and gloom for them just yet, but so far I'm not seeing much promise, and major presses that used to say good things about Microsoft don't appear to be so gull...

The end bit reminded me of Spaceworld 2001. A those girls with 3DS's. It was almost like a nod to the gamecube, since there are many parallels between Gamecube and 3DS.
