Two huge differences between Xbox and 360. Xbox only sold 24 million in 4 years and it was losing money for Microsoft. 360 4 years 30+ million and making a profit.
Also Microsoft officials have said this generation would last longer than previous ones. You will not find anywhere that they said they had a five year plan. Feel free to try.

Exclusive and every single multi platform game looked better on Xbox and it mattered to few. The power difference between 360 and PS3 is no where near the difference between Xbox and PS2. PC: minimum $800 IF you want to build it yourself with no warranty and no support(watch out for static, it's a component killer). Better make it $1200 if you want to max everything.
360: $250 with a charge kit and memory card, with a three year warranty.

There are no official numbers for EU. NPD and Media Create are all we got officially. It's a tie there so where is this killing of 360 by the PS3 taking place? EU? Definitely not in the UK the next largest gaming market. Like the USA the UK favor the 360. Unfortunately no official numbers there. Germany, Spain, France, Italy, no official numbers. Where are you getting your numbers from? Crystal ball perhaps?

When my 360 red ringed, twice, I didn't buy a new one. Microsoft fixed it for free, twice.

Microsoft has done bans at least once a year since 360 launch. Some years up to three times. In fact I believe there was one earlier this year also.
In any case, IF Microsoft used the pirates to boost sales, as has been implied here many times, that seems perfectly fair. You reap what you sow.

This looks way better than Halo 3, but it does not look better than Killzone 2. I believe it's referring to profit/loss on a per console basis, not overall proit/loss.

Wrap it in a towel. turn it on for 15-20 minutes. Check for RRoD. Repeat if necessary.
Bluray is not "NEEDED" for games. The evidence is in the fact that the 360 is getting the same game as the PS3. Bluray is a nice to have, but absolutely NOT NECESSARY. Most people can't tell the difference between compressed/uncompressed video and most people don't have a 7.1 surround system capable of utilizing lossless audio.
So just for you. BLURAY IS NOT NECESSARY FOR GAMES!
