The drug induced alternate reality that some Sony fans live in.
Get a PS3. Of course if you want the best version of the game then a 360>
plain and simple.:)
It's a shame they had to gimp the game on 360 just so the PS3 could keep up with the textures. All multiplatform games should go 360 evclusive. That way 360 would have better games faster and the developers wouln't have to gimp the textures or spend more time in development to make the PS3 version near par with the 360. Oh well, such is life.
Blu-Ray is really starting to show itself as the better movie format. DVD's are dead.
I'm so jealous. NOT! So 360 gets the better version of the game and PS3 gets the better version of the bonus disc. What's on the bonus disc? A making of video? Blu shows its true value as a movie format once again.
So go away trolls. Including you Pennyfool.
On topic: I wonder if they can somehow move the weapons and vehicles into the main game via a patch. That would be sweet.
It is multiplatform and rivals Killzone 2 in visuals and blows it away in size. Check it out right here on N4Fanboys. When your done come on back and there can be a proper discussion of best graphics on consoles.
EDIT: @ casey ryback. Comparing multiplatform games worked last generation to show the "OBVIOUS" power difference between Xbox and PS2 from day one of the Xbox release. It is not the developers fault that Sony decided to make the PS3 difficult to program for exis...
I'm sorry. I forgot you morons are illiterate. Carry on dumbasses.
I give the demo a 9. It takes an often over complicated genre and filters it down to the parts that are fun.
I don't know exactly how they did it,(though the things that you pointed to in your post give a good indication) but they genuinely captured the feel and fun of the Halo franchise. I am in total anticipation of this title. This game could "POSSIBLY" do for the RTS genre what Halo:Combat Evolved did for the FPS genre on consoles. By that I mean, make the genre more popular than it is now, not more popular than FPS', but more popular than the RTS genre is now on consoles.
The only thing this game gets for being Halo related, is fanboys trolling in articles about it.
I heard similar things about Killzone 2, except the controls aren't good. Majority opinion seem to be, the graphics are stellar, the controls suck and the gameplay is very average and generic. Sounds familiar.
That every post so far have been from members of Games r Evil staff. Probably not though. But still, just too much love for an N4G forum. Just saying.
It would be like bragging about having a short penis.
Just a joke don't freak.
1.Shadowrun(Totaly underrated game)
2.Battlefield:Bad Company
3.Halo 3(I don't like the maps much)
4.Bioshock(I used the guns in it more than in The Darkness or Dark Sector so I'll include it)
5.The Darkness(Can't stand the controls in COD or R6:Vegas)
Fallout 3 and Mass Effect are RPG focused and the only shooting in Oblivion was arrows or magic so I'm not sure why you may have included it in your exclusions callahan09. Otherwise nic...
If it cost more than no.
If all platforms got the same games the platform that would be more appealing would be the one that was less expensive and that most games run better on. Sounds like the 360 to me.
Then you are a true idiot. PS3 is still not worth $400. Maybe $300. I will wait for a $200 PS3 myself at this point.
Should I write a blog about it? No. To all the yahoos that keep stating KZ2 sets the bar for FPS'. Get real! It sets the bar for visuals, that's all. No one here has played anything but a demo and/or a beta. Just as many have stated that they don't like the way it plays as those that state they like it. It is pretty though. PS3 is still not worth $400 to me. Maybe I will write a blog.
Unless they are in 1080P at 120fps in 4D!
How many of those PS3's were sold as cheap servers or Blu-ray players. Must be a lot considering PS3 has more then 2/3's the install base, yet sells half the software of 360. Rather telling that. PS3, jack of all trades, master of none.
