got it for £3.50 off steam the other night :P
doesnt mean it failed but it was a little disipointing in some respects, from how it was portrayed
yes, damage is one of those things- mechanical more than visual though for me, it matters theres little consequence to hitting opponants (im talking single player here i'm aware its been patched for online which is a solid improvment)
ai is another for sure and imo at least graphically particually the environments and the weather effects in terms of visuals-...
they just need to steady the framerate a little and enable v-sync and jobs a good-un i think
agree with about about the intro, why not just prerender it if its gonna tear so much?
just finished playing it, i agree completely
had a fair bit of tearing in the intro cutscene and the framerate was a bit variable as you said. overall it was pretty decent the overall effect of the graphics wasn't much different from the pc version just a bit lower res and lower but plenty playable framerate which is to be expected of any game
i expect ill be buying that as i havent done the dlc yet
have you tried the little big planet 2 ...
they look more or less equal, 360 seems to have a little better shadows
im more interested in the framerate, downloading the demo now...
im guessig it will be a bit higher poly count than ps2 with shading techniques similar to ps3
just like psp was to ps1/2
looks like a souped up snes era ff- i like :)
ill bare that in mind missed it on the ps2 days
need prince of persia collection first tho
this vid came out a few days ago, looks damn cool tho
i think its safe to say this game will be getting more of my time next year than any other
im actually looking forward to this game :S
the reviews i read were pretty positive- i thought it looked fun!
@cakeisalie
this is my last bubble, so ill be shutting up after this :)
i mostly agree with you, but additional things a pc can do are largely irrelevent to gaming performce allthough do add a lot of value to the product overall
i dont know US currency but isnt $500 more than a current gen console ;P
i enjoyed that little back an forth, peace dude
@cakeisalie
i agree to a point, but a lot of racers and fighters run at higher fps than that, res wise the only game i can think of thats actually properly 1080p is wipeout hd and thats very low poly
but if we're talking real-world then £££ to performance must also come into it and in that instance a ps3 (or xbox for that matter) win out
i mean take the ps3 how much would you need to spend on a pc to have a machine that wou...
cool, i look forward to trying for myself
@wenis
ive got an i7 930 and in some tests a cell chip would outperform it
for the most part it wouldnt but that statement is just ignorant gpu far outweighs cpu in a modern gaming pc beyond the need for a multithreaded cpu of about 3 threads (based on a write up from toms hardware on cpu vs gpu)
and in the ps3 the cell is designed to augment the gpu
oh... i didnt realise that film did badly i really liked it, got it on bluray
he and uematsu are still the soul of final fantasy as far as im concerned
im a sad panda, squaresoft were my bread and butter of computer games
thank god sakaguchi saw it coming and started mistwalker
im so starved of good jrpgs all i can do is replay ones ive already beaten
id get a ds to fill the void but itll be redunant in a few months and i want a 3ds
i suck at this game, still trying to get all the basic controls down i find the character movement a little counter-intuative and end up swating flys about 6inches infront of the other guys face then i get forget my defence trying to get closer and get my head stoved in
i will persovere tho, from what everyone seems to say it will get easier the more i train
can only play in fairly small blasts tho cuz its very tiring- which i like- nice change of pace from m...
my god that was cool!!
i am gonna have some fun with that sequencer had no idea you could drop tracks in and out interactively in a level thats is funky-tastic!
loved that brawler gameplay vid too the 2nd one- i wonder if you can make a top down level and use the custom camera for an over the shoulder view to make it more 3d looking
looks amazing!!
pre-ordered the us collectors edition instantly after seeing that (the uk one ...
i like how it has its own buttons, it pissed me of when i realised i cant try and play mag with a shooting attachment cuz its so cock handed to press the buttons on top and generally works best with ur hand lent on your lap
i think im gonna give this a try if its priced right
i really really want move to work well with shooters so i can finally join in, only time will tell
thanks for the vid iWaggle looks decent
