is this worth getting then? cause i liked the idea of it for a bit of exercise but have been put off by wildly mixed reviews
terry tibs- talk to me- sell me
if square would only remake one final fantasy to hd i would pick 6
really cool vid, the end little tech demo showing how well the pseye works was really cool
pretty shameful it doesnt work in gt mode and only on easy arcade mode, guess i wont be using it much seeing as pretty much everything i do is in gt mode :(
plenty worth it- not like theres been a shortage of good games in the last 5yrs :)
im still optimisitic, but has anyone actually confirmed the level 40 damage improvment or is this still off that ropey vid that could have been going for half an hour b4 the bit you see?
i really hope it does that, but im too low level to check so far
im a bit worried whats not shown on that vid is him trashing it for 20laps before the recording rather than that being from near the start of the session
also if it unlocks then can you have it for local multiplayer (yeah im a share a sofa kinda multiplayer-er haha)
i have a third group- people who bought the hype
im not dissapointed myself (for the most part), but i can easily see why one could be
firstly it drives great and there is a ton to do
the graphics are good but not that great (with odd exception like a track that allows nighttime driving or weather effects) imo altho the framerate is solid, the only reason this is an issue is because of how fantastic they were making out it was going to look and then in the end it looks pretty damn similar to prologue
my biggest complaint is how it doesnt penalise you well enough for bad driving it reckons i...
if you want to play fps as your main genre next gen spend £300 on a gfx card for pc rather than a console- problem solved.
sweet, that looked more dramatic damage than i thought it did from previous vids :S
hurry up and finish installing! 1m 50s to go aparently!
i dont get it, if you were hyped for an awesome racing game with tons of content and the unmistakable gt touch of class then it meets the hype perfectly only real let down is damage and head tracking (which i was hoping for something more like that guy did witha wiimote i forget his name)
hahaha that was so childish but so good
*claps like a seal*
i cant for life of me figure out why someone would prefer 30fps cap to 45-60fps
have they played wipeout hd in split screen? 30fps is balls at high speed
your joking right?
forza is pretty awesome, project gotham is pretty rubbish
what about grid/dirt? theyre awesome and best on pc
and in case you dont realise people like GT for being GT no game is ever going to be more GT than GT
i dont think its at all suprising a game this hyped scores like this. Sounded like a pretty fair review to me although from what ive seen i disagree about the interface i think it looks lovely like a really posh car brochure
the most important aspect they say gt is king of- driving physics so thats good enough for me, would have liked more meaningful damage ideally but not at the sacrifice of anything they have put in
going to pick up my copy in a min cant wa...
sounded pretty fair for what theyve played of it- ill be happy if its as theyve described
i doubt the damage will get patched up like they reckon, i reckon gt6 will turn up in about 2 years with good damage
cant wait to go through the licence tests- 12hours to go till i can pick up my copy got the wheel setup and ready to go :D
*yawn* live has more features psn is cheaper- nothings changed overall imo although they've both seen numorous improvements
but at the differences i'd sooner have a browser upgrade for ps3 then cross game voice chat- can always just have skype on at the same time on me pc
would prefer mandatory custom soundtracks for sports/racing/party games
looking very promising :)
good, rewind just compltely breaks the flow of a race anyway
unkcle ultie in 3d graphics would be sweet- they should steal the material of those half snake witch things from god of war 3
kefkas laugh should be untouched tho :D
