I bought it for 40 quid and haven't regretted it. It's one of those games worthy of multiple playthroughs.
Each map pack costs around a tenner so it's just a case of how many map packs they're planning to bring out. If they bring out four like Black Ops then it might be worth it.
Funny how everyone slates Cod for 11 months of the year and then changes their opinions just in time for release. It was exactly the same with Black Ops last year. Absolute hypocrisy.
They said it would last 12 hours back in March:

Just another example of EA and DICE talking the talk and failing to deliver.
You don't need Gold for any of those, just the ones with asterisks next to them.
This could be done, whenever you install a game on the 360 the disc is only there for validation. That's why it stops spinning after a couple of seconds. I guess it's to stop people sharing discs.
"We're sorry for this, and we'll be updating our processes to prevent this from happening again in the future."
In other words someone is getting the sack.
Better to have a dashboard that works with the Kinect and the controller rather than having separate ones like they do now. Seems to work equally well with a controller as well.
Coming in October.
It's not an opinion, they are by definition the best rated players on the game.
This article has nothing to do with the PS3, so why mention it twice in your post?
Remedy have never made an FPS.
If people are that bothered then ramp up the difficulty setting, most games have them. Don't tell me that Gears of War 3 on insane doesn't present enough of a challenge.
The large majority of consumers don't even know if a game is exclusive though. That has nothing to do with it. Microsoft market their brands effectively, whether it be down to pop culture or whatever.
Don't be daft. Gears 2 had some memorable moments but the underground levels became pretty monotonous. I'm on Act 4 of Gears 3 and it's been constantly entertaining. Gears 1 is still the best to me though.
Must be to do with the FIFA 12 demo. Luckily I downloaded it before it went down.
Probably means all the City players will be overrated then.
It's a HD remaster, I'm pretty sure it won't make a difference.
Didn't IGN give Resistance 2 a 9.5? And Uncharted 2? And LittleBigPlanet? Flawed theory - as Jelly says, you just have biased standards, it's just that you can get away with it because so many other people on this website are the same.
I'm personally looking forward to having the likes of iPlayer, 4od and Lovefilm on my 360. I use my 360 for video just as much as I do gaming. Besides, who's complaining about the lack of games for the 360? I'm personally juggling my time between Gears 3, Fifa 12 and the Battlefield 3 beta.
