As for the article, this is great news for Sony and the naysayers can eat some crow. Brings me back tot he "Sony is dooooomed" days. Never happened did it? And now with their smaller gap between the PS3 and the 360, Sony is set to dominate the 2010 time frame and come out as second place by this time next year. Can't wait to see the faces of all those who claims Sony would be gone this gen.

The numbers are real and they are more than likely from the fiscal reports as they state in the article. The Examiner is not one to lie or be overly bias.
It's great to see that the 11 million console lead the 360 started with is now dwindled to 5 million and is shrinking ever faster. By this time next year this report will have the PS3 above the 360 in lifetime sales. You can quote me on that.

BF:BC2 will barely creap up on 2.5 million sold. It will be lucky if it ever breaks 3 million. It's a great franchise that is much overlooked.
But in this case, I am glad it sold well. I play it all the time and the more players online, the more divers the matches can be. If you get into a bad lobby, you can get out and into another lobby that will have greater potential for being a fun one. I rarely have issues with the game so for me, and I make it clear to say, FOR ME, the game is fun as heck.
That's the hypocrisy of the 360 camp. However, knowing my taste in consoles and reading my post you can see, no matter what console it is on, the dev should make the game great on both consoles and not favor one over the other. In the end, no matter the console, if it favors one over the other it denotes a lazy dev IMHO and should be released only when the game is complete and good looking on both platforms.
For North America alone there was a 6 million unit sold head start for MS. Worldwide it was nearly 11 million. Too bad you can't read or you might have seen the posts above yours. MS's lead has shrunk from 11 million to 8 million and is shrinking faster each year. Please, feel free to post thought inducing posts of factual material and stop with the silly lies and FUD talking points you stole from the Microsoft PR book.
Tell us how you like it. Does the washed out look make the game play worse? Probably not. In the end, you will like the game despite it looking like it does and then you can come back and be far more civil when it comes to lazy ports to the PS3.

RE went the way of action and it now sucks arse. Too bad they are now doing the same thing to Dead Space. It was awesome being scary and now it is ruined with more action.
It's inevitable and you can mark my words. The next price drop will show just how badly people want the PS3 but can't justify the 300 dollar price tag during this recession. It will come down in price and will disappear off shelves like hotcakes. This year will be the year Sony turns it all around and shows MS what selling a reliable piece of kit and great software can do.
One being the graphics and such. The PC version may not be leaps and bounds over the 360 version but it is better and there is no denying that. Second, for the reliability factor. My PC has never died on me but after 5 Xbox 360's, I am doubting it could make it through this game without dying. I use the 360 for exclusives and buy multiplats on the PC or PS3.
When there is a game that supports 256 players in a single match on the 360 theny ou can talk. otherwise, STFU and GTFO.
I don't even like MAG but can attest to it being an innovative game for consoles and a start to Sony making some online games that will rival the PC.
